  • Great App, would love a few additional features

Really great app. Was able to basically build my whole DnD character here in app and simplifies having to do all the dice math if you set it up correctly. Can set up attacks, damage, skill checks, saves, etc. folders make it easy to group and categorize by action type. Missing a few ease-of-use features for building out sets, otherwise would have given it a 5.

Would love to see features added like:
-louder sound for the roll than the low volume haptic. If using the app during game, would want something louder to be able to prove you aren’t re-rolling just to get a good outcome
-Move multiple folders, rolls, mods or stats at the same time instead of individually.
-An additional small Subtext description field option would also be nice for each of the new items, specifically statistics.
-Ability to link Rolls and Statistics similar to the Modifier link feature
-Use specific statistics as a modifier for more complex dice builds. Or the option to view a combination of Modifiers as a statistic and keep the modifiers linked
-Ability to add linked modifiers quicker instead of having to type them out exactly identical each time. Maybe a drop down box of all existing linked mods to choose from to quick-add
  • One addition maybe.

I checked out your Treasury and maybe that's a better app to add this to, but either way... Could there maybe be a place to track spell slots and/or inventory too? I paid for the full app and love how easy the Dice Sets can be used to make a character sheet for everything except an actual inventory and anything close to a spell sheet. I know that might be beyond the scope of this app, but if it's implemented as smoothly as the dice sets, it'd turn 4/5 into 5/5.
  • It consistently rolls low

I got this app because I don’t have any actual dice and my dad who has the only dice in the house keeps them in his trunk and he isn’t here most of the time but when I started rolling I noticed that it would be consistently low at first I just thought it was my luck but it would happen over and over every time I used the app and I know it isn’t just my luck because I rolled an actual D20 and a D20 in the app and the real one rolled an average 14 and the in app one rolled a 3 which is really low and kind of rare because a D20 will usually roll some where in the middle and it happened with all the dice accept the D2 because it is just 1 and 2 this has lead me to believe that there is an algorithm or something telling it to roll really low most of the time which is not what dice are supposed to be there needs to be random chance in it. But other than that it works fine and would be a very useful tool.
  • Great App!

Thanks for making this app. It’s super helpful when i need to roll a lot of damage dice.

Is there anyway you can change the linked modifiers to use the same value if the modifier rolls a dice? Basically I have a folder for an attack with a crossbow. The attack roll is by itself and in the original folder with a subfolder for damage.(so that attack roll modifiers don't effect the damage.) I want to use the battle masters martial dice to effect my attack. I want it to roll a d6 and add that value to the attack roll and the damage roll which is in the subfolder. Right now, even if its linked, the modifier adds two separate 1d6’s to the roll which can end up with different values.

    Developer Response

There's no way currently to do that but I'll consider it for a possible future update.
  • It will fit your basic D&D needs

It's a cool app with all the basic types of dice you need, I'd give it five stars but...You need to buy a special feature to customize your dice set. I would be fine if you couldn't customize it all, but having to pay for it? No thanks. Otherwise, I love this.
  • Best dice roller ever!

I recently invented a powerlifting RPG and had a hell of a time trying to find dice that would work. In the testing phase, so I didn’t want to spring for custom made dice so I went searching and found this app. Are used it for about 10 seconds before I decided to pop for the paid version. It’s amazing, highly customizable, and has a great aesthetic look to it. Highly recommended!
  • Great level of customizable data, but paid options might not be worth it.

So far I really prefer this app to any other character creator/dice apps. Getting everything set the way I want it is a bit tedious, but should prove very useful once done. My one complaint is with the premium features. I bought the full version so I could use the “link modifiers” function which works for toggling the modifiers on and off, but doesn’t link their modifier numbers like I thought it would, so if I need to increase the mod value I have to go hunt it down everywhere I applied it. This doesn’t make the function as useful as I’d like, and besides the advantage/disadvantage functions, I don’t know if it was worth the trouble to pay for premium.
  • Clean. Easy

Nice user interface. I would like to see more dice colors and patterns, such as black with gold numbers or clear or translucent dice. I would also like to see more background patterns and the ability to add little labels under the dice like “d8”.
  • Character Tracking Made EASY

After a small investment of time to enter all the applicable character data, there is nothing simpler than selecting a character, and tapping a roll. Initiative? Check. Attack? Check. Multiple attacks and damage simultaneously? No sweat! Easy peasy. Would have loved to have found an app like this years ago.
  • Great Tool for Keeping PCs Truthful

There have been a few occasions where a PC rolled and lied and said he got a nat20. Since I had my players download this, there is total accountability now.

I just wish we had some more custom color options like black dice with red numbers. Would this be available in a future update?
