I really enjoy this app! The only issue that I would like to see changed is to add the comment section on each article. This section is found on the website and I really enjoy reading the public's comments on the daily news. Please add this feature to your iPad and iPhone apps. Thank you so much. Good app that needs some work.
The App keeps me in touch with the latest happenings in Canada and around the world from a Canadian perspective as I am living in Australia. I also enjoy using the Listen feature to listen to the World Report or Hourly Edition podcasts. However, the Listen feature does not work well. Once you select the podcast to listen to the player features disappear and you can't pause or stop the player. Major Flaw! Very frustrating when you want to rewind or stop.
The App is generally a bit slower to load compared to my other news apps, but hard to say why that is. The networks here need some improvement anyways so may not be an issue overall for most.Show lessGatecrasher888

Although I'm far from Canada, I thoroughly enjoy the CBC news and radio apps; it sure gives a great perspective of what goes on in Canada! I would give both apps five stars, but...
I am not liking that, since about a month ago, every time I use this app I always see stories that contain graphic content! Also, on the radio app, I heard the word "s#!t" uncensored on their "Trust Inc." program! Perhaps iTunes should re-rate these CBC apps to 12+; hey, "The Guardian" is rated 12+ for, of all things, sex and decapitations, so why can't the CBC apps get this treatment, too?

My Region :-(
Pretty good app except for the 'my region' tab... It's stuck on Ottawa and when I go to change it to Vancouver I can't... In fact the selection is blacked out... Please fix :-)Barndoggg
Article viewing area is TINY
Love the CBC News. Mobile WEBSITE is great but the APP IS HORRIBLE. The layout is cluttered. The area to actually read an article is less than half the screen real estate compared to the website version where the article is more than 3/4 of the screen.
Change it so the controls and tabs hide and I can have full screen reading (like NY Times and other apps) and you get 5 stars.Show lessAllthenamesweretaken
Needs update
I would otherwise love this app if only it had an update for the iOS 5 upgrade. The app shuts down on my if I try to edit anything on it, such as my home page or region, and sometimes when I'm reading a story or watching a video, the app just shuts down or freezes. Otherwise, I enjoy the app. I believe once there is an update, this app will be amazing.Show lessBlackHolwing
Very Good Canadian News App
Although the layout is a bit cluttered, this is an excellent news app. You get a full selection of national and international news, with sections devoted to text, video and photos. And although I have not fully used it yet, the feature that lets you save top stories for offline reading looks promising.
Videos played crisply, with no problems or delays. The news photos were well selected.
It is also interesting to see how there are subsections for news coverage in each Canadian province.
I am a US user who likes to get the news perspective of world journalists. This app is very well executed and offers good content in a well designed package. Other news sites could learn from this example.Show lessSinglestick

No worky....
Unlike others, I get the app to launch, but as soon as I select a story, it crashes.... Bummer..... :(
