  • Update last week wiped out all devices

    Apparently the update pushed out last week wiped out all devices and we have to re-add everything. I am a Geovision installer and have many clients who use this app, so I’ve been dealing with re-adding all of their camera systems for the past couple days. Very frustrating! Why did you push out an update that would wipe the app completely?

    Thank you for your feedback. In version 3.3.0, the app automatically switches to Easy Mode, which may have led to the mistaken impression that the list was cleared. Please go to the settings page and manually switch to General Mode to check if the list has actually been cleared. The issue has been fixed in version 3.3.1.   • Gv-eye app playback error after update 3.2.0

    After I downloaded to my iPhone the update 3.2.0 for the app Gv-Eye. Playback option was stopped working. Live video works but the recording can no longer be viewed. Before the updates everything worked fine. Probably the geovision system is already outdated. It will need to be replaced with another, more modern system.

  • Been using gv-eye for years & it crashes all the time.

    This app is okay. You get a live view of your camera and some recording, but it crashes all the time. The second you try to do something the app crashed and you have to force close to get it back up.

    If you want to view a recording, you can and it takes timeeee, just do not click on more than 3 videos or it crashes. Also the playback is horrible on it. You have to select individual files by date and time, max 5 files and open it up. You cannot simply scroll through the actual video feed.

    You want to view multiple cameras at once, it works for a few minutes, but then crashes. It’s like the app works to show the feed but once you do too many things, it crashes.

    The app is very unstable and I’m moving my customers to UNV for the easier functionality on their phones.

    I am moving my customers away from geovision because of the functionality of vms and app.

  • Great App, but some minor issues

    The app doesn’t let you check the video history with the new update. How can I fix this? It also closes out a lot but overall great app.
  • Crash and loading issues

    Have 32 cameras on a nvr. This is an iOS remote login to view live views. Some times it takes 20/30 seconds to load a single camera. Other times it loads all super fast. Other times it won’t load at all no matter how long you wait. If you try and click on the mic or speaker the app crashes and you have to start all over again. I don’t know why systems like this have such an issue with iOS all the time. Windows version works just fine.

    Thank you for your feedback. According to our internal test, GV-Eye can get GV-NVR live view normally within 10 seconds. Furthermore, GV-Eye does not crash when use audio wave out and talk back.   • Crashes and Slow

    Recent updates have made the app slow and buggy. I can no longer rely on seeing my cameras. It either takes too long, shows a still image instead of live, or crashes completely. This is since a recent update. GV-VMS 17.4.3 with 39 cameras. Was fine before the update.

  • Geovision 3.0

    This app is in need of attention it crashes or the cameras just set an spin. When you click a pic to enlarge it an then hit the back button to go back to live view it crashes or just sits an spins on the live page. All my devices are up to date every thing worked great in version 2.9 but when i updated to 3.0 the problems started including in there new ez access its the same it crashes. How can i get the old version back it works more than i can say about the new 3.0 junk.

    When is the update for this app coming out. It not working is really hurting my business an people don't want cameras that the remote app don't work. Can you shed some light on this. Thanks

  • App Crashing

    Since update to 3.0 the app constantly crashes. Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s an iPhone or Samsung/Android. Never happened to anyone of at at the store until the latest update 4 weeks ago.

    Constantly problem with app slow uploads recoding videos not working very slow new app very confusing difficult to log in we got new IPhones every app working fine not happy about how’s app working.
  • Freezes and crashes constantly!

    This app consistently crashes every time I use it. Have tried two different iPads and two different iPhones. It’s been like this for months, even with the updates!
