Cannot access the app. Followed all the instructions and still cannot access the app. This application is difficult to access and maintain connection. When I was able to speak with someone about the connection, treated has a moron. Eventually, will try again to access the app and maybe write a review that is favorable.Show lessFireStorm Team

What happened?
Previous versions of the app were much faster. The current version is slow to load and frequently will freeze or crash on my iPad.Dixie DJ
Pages not updated and trying to charge for access
This app has great potential of achieving 5 stars.
However it cannot, when 1) the same pages appear day after day and are not updated, especially on weekends; and 2) it attempts to charge readers to access articles, after being at no charge for years.
Please allow readers unfettered access and update the news at least daily if not twice a day - and make your policies known to the readership and users. Thank u.Show lessUser x 2 mo

So this app was good when anyone could read all the articles. Now, they limit the number of articles, so the app is worthless. Of course, on could read the max number of articles, delete the app, re-install it, and repeat...danrodkin
Horribly awful!
Why would you make people pay to read articles on a free app? You're losing so many customers by charging to read the news. Choose your 5 articles a month wisely because then you're done being able to open them. This app doesn't even deserve one star. TV20 News app is the way to go! This is not the best news app ever, but it's not bad. I actually kind of like the notifications (have them in pretty much every other app), because they're not too frequent and they're my local news, after all.Swanatty

Sorry you're charging
I've subscribed to and read the Gainesville Sun for several years. It was because the circulation department was unable to maintain my payment plan option straight that I ended my daily service.
Sorry but you're not worth any subscription fee for reading the Sun on my iPhone.Popi Time
