  • IHome should be ashamed of itself

    Your app won't even connect to my iPhone 6+ via Bluetooth. You should be ashamed of yourselves selling outdated products in stores that require customers to use older model iPhones!!!
    Pathetic in every way that I have to use a line in or 30 pin adapter.
    Don't buy the iHome in a store!!!
  • Finally

    We finally got an app that is half way working after the last OS update. However I just found another problem - how to set the radio station when the alarm goes off. I set the time to 5am and AM radio, but how do I select the station?

    Smaller problem - Also the volume seems not the match on the phone with the actual clock sometimes.

    Come on guys- who is checking this software / app before you put it out as an update? You need to make improvements in your QA and IT teams.

  • Limited initial functionality made worse by update

    I've had this product for a few years and was never entirely happy with its limited functionality. You have very few choices as far as which days you'd like your alarm to turn on (your choices are: weekday, every day, or weekend. Even my phone allows me to pick individual days, so that on MWF when I wake up early for the gym, my phone alarm will automatically turn on without my having to set it the night before. With this alarm clock, I have to remember Sunday, Tues & Thurs to set my alarm to turn on at a different time.) Also, you only have 2 alarm preset slots; so I use one for waking up on MWF, another for TTH, and I'm out of presets. If I want to wake up at a different time on Saturday, I have to adjust one of my presets.

    Recently, they decided to "update" the app, and since then it's been near unusable. It crashes constantly, I have a hard time turning the alarm on & off using my phone, and the option to set the alarm to a specific radio station is gone. I thought it would just turn on to whatever station it was last on, but no, I woke up to static yet again this morning.

    This product is a good idea, but the execution is poor, and they just can't seem to get it together.

  • Working but still needs help

    The app seems to be working again finally. It looks like a quick fix was slapped on to it, so I can't honor a higher grade than average. More attention needs to be paid to the app with a complete UI/UX overhaul. Given the fact that a lot of the products are supposed to interact with the phone, it should feel like attention was paid to the app.

  • Worse than ever

    The previous update merely worked badly; this one doesn't work at all, but simply crashes on launch.

    iHome products seem to never work right. Perhaps they have one latest functioning device that works with the latest app (though I've never seen that, and I've had four iHome products). Usually, they work ok for a while and then crap out.

    What a terrible product line, and a terrible app.

    On reflection, the screenshots should have tipped me off as to what to expect -- the UI hasn't changed since iPhone 1.

  • Only partial functionality

    I just purchased the iDL44 and downloaded this app to use. I was disappointed to see that only 1 alarm on a 2 alarm device can be set through this app and the only alarm modes are iPod and buzzer...what no FM radio option? Really?!

    So for what I wanted to use it for it is basically useless garbage. I'll use the radio buttons and delete this useless app.

  • Working Again

    Thanks for the update. I was surprised last night when I could control the alarms. I would give this 5 stars if I could open the app when not connected to my radio. (I realize this might wipe out values enter in the radio earlier.)
  • Crash Fest

    The app crashes on every device (iPhone, iPad, etc). I now have two useless AirPlay speakers since I can't update them with new network information. The "support" page offers nothing. Resetting the speakers does nothing. I will never, ever again purchase an iHome product.

  • This app does nothing. Nothing.

    Even if you try to get support it does nothing. All there is is a screen to buy other products. Nothing else. Who wants or needs that??
    If you try to access support all it does is ask for your model number and then nothing.
    I registered the product (while having to have it connected to the device!!! Super annoying!!!) and still nothing but a black screen with the app version and a place to buy things.
    And even after registering it says I have to have my phone connected to the alarm clock to use it! Even if it did work What is the point?? I can set it less awkwardly just using the clock itself.
    What is this supposed to do other than cause aggravation? It certainly does not do anything they list in the app page. Or anything at all for that matter.
    I hope the actual product actually works. I've never bought ihome before and so far I am not diggin' it.
