  • Not working??

I downloaded this app a while ago and I appreciate and liked the community for the most part. Most people were caring and genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. I tried to get on the app a couple days ago and I always end up being kicked out, I’ve tried to open the app a few times throughout the past couple of days and I don’t know why it’s not working and it’s making me frustrated because I don’t have another platform to rant and talk about the ongoings of my life. Please fix this problem it’s making me more anxious and frustrated then I already am. Also I feel like a lot of people are trying to find boyfriends and girlfriends and that is defeating the purpose of this application. But I know there’s not anything that can be done to prevent people like this.

  • Terrible app

Advertises 5 star ratings in the app and limits freedom of speech. App doesn’t even work and crashes on trying to start app. Moderation is terrible and hate speech + nudity is often left unchecked even when being reported multiple times. My 1 star reviews keep being removed. I would appreciate it if the truth was left visible.

  • It’s cool

It’s awesome too actually share how you feel with strangers but Yknow there’s LOADS of depressing posts and it feels some what uncomfortable..
  • A Relief without the couch

This website is perfect for anyone that is suffering in any way. Through the years I did see a Therapist and it was the best medicine for anyone that is hurt. You only get to stay there for an hour. I still found it refreshing.
Browsing one day I stumbled on this website and it has helped tremendously. I was able to communicate with several participants. It was such a relief, I started doing different things and I found a job.
I definitely recommend, only if people are mature adults, in order someone can get help.
Thanks for starting this platform that allows you to talk and be anonymous.

  • Exactly what I needed

I have been looking for an app exactly like this! I’m able to post anonymously, I can find and talk to people who understand with ease, all the while help others too! It feels good to go through the posts and give support where needed ❤️
I will say that it’s extremely slow (especially private messaging) though I understand that it’s still in development. Props to you developers!

Also another issue is the alarming amount of Indians looking to hook up. I don’t want to be racist, but the conversation usually goes “hi”, “where are you from”, “I’m from India”, “how old are you”, “what do you look like”, and I’ve had a few of my friends tell me that they’ve received dic pics as well from these people.

Minor issues I have; every time I type “pillow” for some reason it immediately replaces it with “pandao”. I have checked other apps, my keyboard is fine, I don’t have any text replacements, and it seems a few others have this funny issue as well.
Also a post of mine was removed for “tagging users”, and I didn’t. I was complaining about how users were using the app for dating and hooking up, and the post was only up for a few moments. I never once tagged a user in that post and simply just ranted for a bit. I understand if this was automated however.

Other than this a very good idea, and exactly what I needed!

  • Frustrated-Constant crashing

I have been using this app for years, it has helped me through many many trying times and has been the majority of my support system many times.
Over the past 2 months I have not been able to use the app as it will crash every time I open it. No error codes, no nothing. Just a black screen then I’m back on my home page. My phone is updated, the app is updated, I’m up to date on everything. It’s a brand new phone! I’ve written a few emails asking for help.. I’ve gotten one reply. Which was zero help. Wish this would be addressed.

  • So many glitches

I have been a member of this app for more than 3 years now and it’s helped me when I really needed it most of the time. But for some reason ever since I got the app it’s always had glitches and problems that take forever to get fixed and once they do new ones just come up. I just downloaded this app again because I’m in desperate need of help since I’m on a medication break and I can’t even comment on posts because they literally just wont publish or load. How are we supposed to help each other or receive help if we can’t even communicate with each other?

Also, I just want to warn that sometimes this app can be more triggering than helpful to people with mental illness. I got in a very negative headspace to the point where that app was just adding to the negative vibes around me. But it’s different for everyone and every situation.

  • Talklife

I find this app to be quite helpful for those who wish to meet others who are dealing with the same issues as others may be. I personally joined to help people and that’s what this app also lets you do. You get the odd person who misuse the site which they shouldn’t do but when you report them or block them etc it gets sorted as soon as and you don’t have to put up with anyone whom is giving you any hassle.

All round this is a brilliant app and one of a kind I definitely wouldn’t be able to find a better app or this kind elsewhere.
