Difficult to get them to pay
I loved this app the first few times I used it. I submitted my receipt, and everything went smoothly. Recently I have had several offers denied because I didn’t buy the correct item. When I read the fine print, I confirmed that I did buy the correct items, and I contacted customer service and was credited for the offers. Now I have contacted them 3 times about an offer that they denied, and I can’t even get a response. It’s really frustrating. Very easy to use and claim cashback on Shopmium on various brands and products, foolproof steps below - 1) Open the Shopmium app and find the product in store. 2) Scan the product in the app before buying to make sure you buy the correct item. 3) Buy the product, and KEEP THE RECEIPT. 4) Click the big pink button on the bottom centre of the app home page, take an image of the receipt, and scan the barcode of the product. 5) Accumulate £10 in cashback and redeem it straight to your PayPal or your bank account. Easy peasy. Scan 10 items and get rewarded in the Gold club, with exclusive rewards and anniversary bonuses for claiming cashback at least once every month.
You do need to accumulate £10 in cashback to get it paid out but there are many free and discounted cashback offers available to help reach the target easily, and unlike CheckOutSmart there is no egregious 5% withdrawal fee for withdrawing your cash. My time was wasted, and I was treated unfairly. I bought several items per the qualification listed in the app via Shopmium. I was told by Shopmium support on the app that if I went to the store and re-purchased the items that honor my receipt and give me my cashback bonus. I bought the 5 specific items the same day that I received confirmation that I would receive payment. However, thereafter I was told they would not accept my transaction payout the same day the person writing back to me via the application support said that they would. When I asked for escalation to voice complaint, my app was reset somehow to an account in France and in French. I never received an answer. I had to navigate back to English in the United States, and support was bare minimum to do so. This was ultimately dishonest and you all wasted my time!Show less
