Difficult to get them to pay
I loved this app the first few times I used it. I submitted my receipt, and everything went smoothly. Recently I have had several offers denied because I didn’t buy the correct item. When I read the fine print, I confirmed that I did buy the correct items, and I contacted customer service and was credited for the offers. Now I have contacted them 3 times about an offer that they denied, and I can’t even get a response. It’s really frustrating. I’m not sure what changed with the app, but it is now very difficult to get them to pay for offers that I did buy.Show lessoakman124

Very easy to use and claim cashback on Shopmium on various brands and products, foolproof steps below - 1) Open the Shopmium app and find the product in store. 2) Scan the product in the app before buying to make sure you buy the correct item. 3) Buy the product, and KEEP THE RECEIPT. 4) Click the big pink button on the bottom centre of the app home page, take an image of the receipt, and scan the barcode of the product. 5) Accumulate £10 in cashback and redeem it straight to your PayPal or your bank account. Easy peasy. Scan 10 items and get rewarded in the Gold club, with exclusive rewards and anniversary bonuses for claiming cashback at least once every month.
You do need to accumulate £10 in cashback to get it paid out but there are many free and discounted cashback offers available to help reach the target easily, and unlike CheckOutSmart there is no egregious 5% withdrawal fee for withdrawing your cash. Shopmium support dishonest, unfair and gives false information
My time was wasted, and I was treated unfairly. I bought several items per the qualification listed in the app via Shopmium. I was told by Shopmium support on the app that if I went to the store and re-purchased the items that honor my receipt and give me my cashback bonus. I bought the 5 specific items the same day that I received confirmation that I would receive payment. However, thereafter I was told they would not accept my transaction payout the same day the person writing back to me via the application support said that they would. When I asked for escalation to voice complaint, my app was reset somehow to an account in France and in French. I never received an answer. I had to navigate back to English in the United States, and support was bare minimum to do so. This was ultimately dishonest and you all wasted my time!Show lessC. Cram
FRENCH Issue Resolved - Back To Good
I will revise my review to 5 stars when this issue is addressed. I have had Shopmium since they started in the US and have not had any problems submitting rebates or getting cash back. After the most recent update; however (not sure if it’s related), my app is in French. I’ve tried deleting, reinstalling, hard reset of my phone and checked all Apple ID and phone settings (all are USA). None of my other apps are in French or download as if they are European and I see nowhere on my account to set language. If I try to redownload the app, it still comes across French. I can log into my account on the website and it’s USA, so I believe this is an app issue. Please fix so I can continue enjoying Shopmium! Think it’s pretty awful they changed the app without prewarning anyone. I wouldn’t have just brought two things on it otherwise. Disappointed that they’ve changed it to £10 cash out. It will take me ages the only reason I used this app was to try new things I wouldn’t necessarily buy. Money is tight so why would I then buy something new I simply cannot afford ? The instant payment was what drew most people to this app as it was unlike others.
You could have at least warned people before so we could get our final things we just purchased and then I would have deleted the app because now like many will probably just leave the app with you pocketing that £1 or so as like many aren’t probably going to bother anymore.
Truly disappointed used to love this app. Now it’s just like the others why change a good thing. Listen to your consumers we are all saying negative things about this update.Show lessswago2000
Terrible customer service!!
Worst customer service I’ve seen on ANY App ever!! Writing customer service is completely useless!! If your lucky enough to even get a response it’s either a rude response or it has nothing to do with the question being asked. I feel like it’s all computer generated responses. It’s almost like their main goal is to see how many offers they can possibly deny and will give you random bizarre reasons for the denial and refuse to give further explanation or any sorts and eventually will threaten to close your account if you continue to ask questions. Love the app but there’s a major glitch/flaw
Unfortunately, the app has a major flaw - once you clip the coupon, you can’t open it anymore to see if there are any restrictions. If the coupon is still available for clipping, that information is available. However, if it’s gone from the main screen but still stays in your clipped coupons tab, you no longer see those restrictions. Is Shopmium considering fixing this issue?Show lessAlisa Cortez

Normally is a great app, but since the morning of Saturday 27th April 2024, I haven’t been able to sign in and unfortunately couldn’t remember my password as it had disappeared from Keeper as well (not related). Couldn’t remember if it was linked to Facebook either, didn’t think so, but used the password reset option and it kept saying You Have No Password. Tried many times over the weekend, sent a message to support, who said to try logging out then back in again (!), also to uninstall then reinstall. I requested another password reset, only for it to arrive after it expired the next day. I found someone else who uses the app and they’re having the same issue.Show lessv2001
New update locks you out of app
This update called test review DOES NOT allow you to open the app. I put my password and email address in to do so and it says it is incorrect password or email. They are correct ones. I’ve reached out to tech support and they haven’t gotten back to me after several email explaining that the update is causing this issue. A friend if mine is having same issue. The update 2 days ago.
