Great app, but a critical bug since recently

On iOS the app is no longer able to fill out the credentials on any website for me. iOS shows the suggestions but as soon as I select one no touch ID appears. And when I try to use the share sheet to fill in the credentials it does not work too, Enpass is saying that it was unable to retrieve the data from Safari.
I have iPhone SE and the latest stable iOS.

The Best Out There

I’m the Vice-President of IT for our company and have been a long time user of Enpass. We just recently went through reviewing the top 20 password managers out right now, including 1Password, Bitwarden, Keeper, etc. We cannot find a better password manager that fits the needs of what we’re looking for. We can find issues in all of them. I’m not saying there isn’t anything in Enpass that I would change, there are a few things I would like to see, but it so much better than what we reviewed. Great job to the developers. Please keep improving the browser extension.

Crash after latest update

I have been using Enpass for quite a long time and never had any issue until I got the recent update (released on October 5, 2022). Ever since the update, the app would immediately crash after Face ID checking. I thought it was caused by security bug of iOS 15.7, but it does not appear to be the case. A couple days ago Apple releases iOS 15.7.1, fixing a bunch of security bugs. I just installed iOS 15.7.1, but Enpass still crashes on me. Since I rely on it together with Apple’s Touch UD and Face ID for such a long time, I don’t even remember the master password I set. Now I can’t get ANY info from it and I can’t log into many sites without it! Can development team of this app do anything about the crashing bug?

IOS 15.7 + Enpass 6.8.3 = GARBAGE!

Dropping to one star and moving on to another service. For the sake of others shopping for a password manager: LOOK ELSEWHERE! It has been one month since the release of 6.8.3 with widespread issues expressed here and on Enpass forums. One month of not being able to access passwords on iOS and being promised a fix will be released ‘very soon’. Yet, the “Development Team” doesn’t appear to have a clue as to what the problem is. Spend your money elsewhere as you will more than likely be hung to dry here without any resolve or transparency.

“Our development team is working on a fix which will be released very soon”…. Can you please be transparent as to when the fix will be arriving? Almost two weeks now and still can’t get to my passwords on iOS. And I just paid my annual subscription renewal, which I’m getting close to requesting a refund and finding another password service. Dropping to two stars. Not. Happy.

App will now not load even after power cycling the phone. Are you doing proper QC???

No support, no consideration

I had been using this app for years. I even help them at the time to fine tune their app. This was at the time it was free. Now, after updating the os I was forced to get this latest version. I can no longer access my passwords without unlocking the app. There is no indication on how to get the unlock code. I communicated with the support but no answer. Absolutely no consideration for the past help. I changed my appreciation from 5 stars to 1.

App Crashes Immediately After Launching

Password managers are a must to protect yourself from security breaches. However, they are only valuable if they are reliable. Since the last update this app will not run. The developers are aware and have not yet launched a fix for over many weeks. That means many of us have not been able to access passwords for that period of time. This but clearly impacts many users and should have been detected during the QA phase of launch. You cannot run something so critical to everyday living if you are not going to provide a modicum of reliability or you are not going to provide a fast fix.

Great but need 1 fix

When searching it always defaults to Fields - I prefer Titles when searching.

There should be a choice or a selection which each wants to prefer.

Overall it’s the best app for passwords.

Security

This is good app. But sometime, I found the app Face ID is lost and has to login with password, then after login with password, the Face ID selection is missing in app. I have to reboot the iPhone and then the Face ID selection come back. This indicates someone nearby may use fake WiFi to force my iPhone to link. Then invade the app to disconnect Face ID . The aim is to steal app login password when prompted to manually enter password.

Disappointed with subscription spam

Beware the “no subscription” reviews! Enpass now spams you to subscribe - even if you have purchased before!

I purchased this app years ago. Now I keep getting notifications in the app for features I don’t have access to. Upon clicking, I’m offered to pay for a subscription. I don’t mind not having access to new features. But please stop spamming me with it. I’d sooner change to another app - and pay them instead - than pay you again due to your spam. Incredibly insulting and disappointing.
