Great

Handy app for storing all sorts of sensitive information even beyond passwords. Integrates nicely on iPhone as well as the desktop app for Windows.

Best so far

I’ve tried a few password managers. All have features that could be improved on, and may even completely lack a feature that is critical imho. Integration with the OS is always critical and the deeper the integration the better. Ease of setup and use across ALL devices is always critical. Although it’s less obvious, the ability to self-host your vaults is critical as well. This is what steered me to Enpass - self hosting. Providing for a permanent licence was the other deal maker for me. Well done to Enpass for “reading the room” as more and more people are looking for software that gives these options. On sale as well - I bought two permanent licenses.

Great work, UI could be prettier

I have been using Enpass for 2-3 years now. The dev team has been pushing updates regularly and they are quite responsive 💪🏼

So many features, some are not available elsewhere. My favourite is 2FA codes being copied to the clipboard automatically for easy pasting.

Surprisingly low number of reviews on the App Store for this excellent app 🤷🏻‍♂️ Perhaps the UI getting the paint job it desperately needs could change things.

Good product

I bought this a few years ago and have used it ever since on PC and iPhone. (I use the Windows version from the EnPass website, not the Windows Store version.) I bought a lifetime licence for the phone version (it’s free on a PC of course) which was only about ten uk pounds then - excellent value.

The product itself is very good - works well and is really useful. I’ve only needed to email support once ever, and they responded competently within about 12 hours.

I only gave fours stars because of the price. With the introduction of a subscription option it’s got a lot more expensive. But it’s an excellent product, and so much better that trying to remember passwords or writing them in a notebook. Everyone should use a password manager - I looked at the three most popular ones before I bought this one. I likes how EnPass worked, and that it doesn’t store users’ passwords centrally, so I chose this one, and I don’t regret it.

Working fine

Updating my review. The app started working properly after a week or two. I’m not sure what changed but it works fine now.
Better than other password managers because the password db is local which allows for faster access.

Still the best

I was an early adopter of this app. I tried the desktop app via free trial of the pro version which reverts to free unlike any other app of this kind but after another month I decided it was invaluable and better than the alternatives. I bought the one time life subscription and installed the free iOS version. The price went up in 2019 but the developer's continued to honour my original subscription for the pro version with ongoing updates. This is not an app you are likely to swap out so a lifetime subscription becomes cheaper and cheaper over time. Enpass has all of the features you would expect from a top notch password manager including self auditing and security breaches via Watchtower. Five out of five for me.

Great app

I started using this password manager many years ago because it supported Windows Phone. I've since switched to an IPhone, but I still use this app because it runs on all major platforms.

The feature set is excellent. The only thing it doesn't do that I wished it did is when creating a new Login entry to auto-fill fields like email; it seems silly that I have to type my email address in every time.

Essential daily tool

Works flawlessly across several devices and platforms, with multiple vaults. I can’t remember when I last typed a password, Enpass takes care of it all. Worth every penny.

Nice password manager with flaw

Enpass is a nice password manager I can use on my iPhone, iPad and computer and keep my passwords synced up. Despite the settings, it automatically relooks itself so you have to enter your password every time … annoying but I can live with that. Unfortunately when it locks up, it loses any information that was being entered. I was creating a web account for my bank. I would enter the info into Enpass and then into the web form. I even used Enpass to generate a secure password. I sat my phone down while I finished the form (less than 30 seconds) but unfortunately that was enough time for the screen to lock and Enpass lose all my info. With no password, I can’t get into the account. Tomorrow I have to go to the bank in person with documents to unlock my account. From now on I will write all info down before trusting Enpass … unfortunately that crushes the security.

Truly cross platform awesomeness

I use this across Ubuntu, Windows, iPad, in work and at home, through the App and through browser extensions.
It syncs beautifully across all platforms and integrates well on all different hardware.
Well worth paying for.
