Convenient but Unreliable
A really convenient way to control our garage door remotely when we are either away from home or in the backyard & away from the wall control. I was recently able to add the App to my Apple Watch. This is sure handy….when it works. I get the “spinning wheel of doom” a lot & have to uninstall & re-install to get it to work.

Things That Need Improvement in the MYQ App
1.Faster Loading Time: Reduce the time the MYQ logo stays on the screen when opening the app to provide a quicker and more seamless user experience.
2.Improved Microphone and Camera Functionality: The current microphone setup when using the cameras is inconvenient. Having to hold down the microphone button to talk makes it difficult to communicate effectively. You can’t hear the other person while holding the button, and there’s a frustrating 4-second delay before the other person can hear you. A much-needed improvement would be a one-tap microphone activation that stays open while you speak, allowing for real-time, two-way communication. Additionally, the overall performance of the camera feed could be enhanced to reduce lag and improve audio-video synchronization for a smoother experience.
3.Bring Back HomeKit Support: Restore compatibility with HomeKit to allow seamless integration with other smart home devices and systems. This would make the app far more versatile for users with interconnected smart home setups.
4.Remove Ads: Ads disrupt the user experience and give the app a less professional feel. Eliminating them would make the app more enjoyable and efficient for users.

Slow and no smart home integration.
The application start up is ridiculously slow and so smart home integration
Updates what updates
Feature and bug fixes too often ( 5 updates in a week get real ) but never told what features are added, must be very buggy app with so many updates , please can you test your app properly and cut the number of updates. How about support for CarPlay ?

App slow to open, often have to login again, Apple Watch app hangs requiring reinstall, no integration with Home Kit and 3rd party integration has been blocked deliberately.
Homebridge support
No more home bridge support makes this useless for me, will swap it out for something that does integrate.
PLEASE ADD CARPLAY!!!!
The only piece missing is the ability to open my garage door from CarPlay - opposed to digging out my phone, unlocking, opening the app, waiting for it to load, navigating to the correct tab, then pressing the button. Can you please investigate adding this feature? Otherwise myQ app is a great integration and remote for the garage door. The app and Apple Watch app are fine, sometimes buggy, but do the job. As said, a key feature has been overlooked and if implemented would make this a 5* review.
