PENFED’s app does it all efficiently
At 81 years old, I am definitely not a techie. A quick visit to a brick and mortar PENFED office got me up and running on their cell phone app and it is so efficient I will never go back to pen and paper. I’ve been trying to link my Citibank checking account to my PenFed Access America checking account for over 2 weeks. From Citibank I get the prompt - we are trying to restore the connection with PenFed. From PenFed I get the prompt - try again - followed by would you like to link another account. This is very frustrating and annoying. Please fix this connection - there is no reason why I would be able to link a Navy Federal account to my Citibank account - and still not able to link a PenFed account to my Citibank account after 2 weeks. I always associated PenFed with better quality customer service than Navy Federal - at least until now!Show lessGreat until….
If you don’t have any issues that require tech support your fine. Otherwise on several occasions when I’ve had problems it’s always been a hassle. Trying to deposit a mobile check for 10 days and the problem is still not solved and there’s no time line for when it might be. The only other solution is to mail them the check but that defeats the purpose of the APPShow less
