Logging in with pin or face recognition
Is there anyway we can use a pin or face recognition to log into this app? I hate having to put my password in every time.
Edit: Received an email with how to activate pin / facial recognition. I’ll past the answer here just in case anyone else didn’t realise it was something that can be turned on within settings. thank you for reaching out to Medibank. You can certainly use a PIN or face recognition to log into the app. You will need to first ensure it's activated within the settings on your phone to use this. Then, in the My Medibank app, head to Me > Setting cog at the top right > Activate the Device Authentication option. It will then use the setting that is set on your phone to log in.
Response from developer
Hi Yarsmine, thank you for your review and for posting the information on how to activate PIN / facial recognition for other members. With recording activities for the Live Better weekly goal, this year we did release a feature where you can track these activities manually. To do so, please login to the My Medibank app and select the Live Better tab. Under the weekly goal wheel you will see boxes with activities you can complete, eg 7,000 steps. Please select the appropriate activity you would like to complete and follow the onscreen instructions to complete it. You can complete up to 2 activities per day, and up to 7 activities over the week. If you have any additional questions about the My Medibank app, please don't hesitate to reach out to mobile.feedback@medibank.com.au and we'd be able to assist. Thanks, Jess
