  • Terrible

    The app does not update fund accurately. I never know how much I actually have in my accounts. And I am constantly seeing withdrawals days, sometimes up to 10 days, after the actual transaction. Highly considering changing to another banking service. Also the website has been down for over a week, although before the changes the website was very accurate and trustworthy. I can no longer say that about either.

  • Old app was better

    This new version of independent banks online banking app is incredibly slow and it seems as if it was launched too soon, or they were just content with the lag issues. Old one was better. Easier to use, faster. Bring old app back
  • HUGE Improvement!

    The new app has so much more functionality than the old one and has a better looking design. All the people giving 1 stars don’t know how updating an app works and should maybe give it a bit before complaining about it. The app works great.

  • Sick of it

    I don’t understand why we had to have this new update, the old app I never had problems with and now I can’t even know what my exact balance is cause for some reason the app is not showing transactions I made so I don’t even know how much money I actually have in my account so I just been using a calculator to keep track every time I make a transaction. Never had an issue with the independent app, but now with this new one there’s constant issues

  • Enjoying the new app

    Still kinda slow but I like the new layout! Very functional and looking forward to some new features.
  • App change over

    I have spoken with two IB employees and then called a third time to be left to a recording which I hung up after 5 min of recorded messages assuring me of my importance.
    I have an old phone # that is being used as a security verification link which I have been assured has been changed. Of course it is still being used when I attempt to open the app. Very frustrating.

  • Forced to use

    So we told we have to use new this app. First, it is not designed for iPad. (It does not fill the screen.) Second, I cannot access my bill paying (including all of my payees.) It says I have things blocked in safari, so I opened up the settings it told me to, still doesn’t work for paying bills. So far, it’s terrible. I see a lot of bad reviews…why would Independent Bank choose this app developer?

  • Accuracy

    I’ve used my debit card and do not see the transactions on my account. Previously I had that necessary info. It leaves feeling my balance is incorrect.
  • Could be useful. It’s not.

    Supposedly this app was originally released four years ago? I’d been using the IB Banking App before this and switched over after the app was taken down (and everything was offline for four days!) just to find when I had finally managed to log in (9-10 attempts later, it wasn’t registering anything I was doing for a hot minute) that my none of my deposits had registered! (Over 200$ worth of deposits!) Lots of problems with transactions registering or not, finicky overlay and fussy interface. If the app were more reliable I would find it likeable. From what I’ve seen just about any other banking interface runs smoother.
