Useless, can’t stream to iPad

Only get the option to do a snapshot. Without this feature I have no use for this camera

Streaming has been broken for some time

I have been using the FLIR T530 along with this software to stream my image to customers that could stand back a safe distance while observing the scans. The streaming feature has not worked for some months now.

I have updated to the latest app version as well as the latest firmware on the T530, but it does not work on any of my iOS devices (iPhone 12, iPad Pro or iPad Mini).

Stream does not

No image appears in streaming. Can only click to take a photo which doesn’t even appear until you go find it. Lame.

Works For Me

I was a little nervous to order my new Flir camera because I really needed to be able to easily transfer photos to my phone and there are a lot of bad reviews for this app. My experience has been great so far. The camera paired easily to my phone and transferring images is quick.

Horrible to pair with account and camera

Every time I need to get images off my c5 I remember how painful it is.

The app has a convoluted way of pairing with the flir ignite account, but then doesn’t work. My camera will upload to the account, but this app won’t download from the cloud.

Occasionally after many refreshes the camera appears in the device list, click upload and the camera display changes to a basic thermal image with no controls. Only way to fix it is by rebooting the camera.

Camera is latest firmware, this stupid app is the latest.

It has so much promise but is marred by incompetence and complicated ways of doing anything.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear….

Can’t open a file from the files app

Can’t open from photos app without stripped thermal data.

Can’t even open from the share sheet.

Sorry for your experience, we agree that the app has been in need for a refresh. We have worked to improve a lot of the app and hopefully it works better now. Totally useless

When I bought my camera C3 the app allow to stream the screen to the iPhone and allow to capture. Now does allow to capture but you can’t see what you’re capturing. The way to update the camera with a Mac is totally impossible. I’ll never buy any other FLIR camera ever again. There is absolutely no support for Mac & IOS users.

If you thinking about buying a FLIR camera think twice.

And if your version of the app allow to live stream. Do not update! You’ll lose the function!

Text annotations

The cameras have a great function in being able to create tables associated to the images. The quick report does not seem to import them. Why would this not be integrated into the app created by the camera makers?

Not intuitive

The app works, but is not intuitive.

For example:
While it does allow the user to export multiple images at once, there are no swipes or long-presses that allow for multi-select. Instead, the checkbox on the upper right (which adds checkboxes along the left side) serves the purpose. (Why isn’t this icon on the top left, above where the checkboxes appear?)

Bugs with latest IOS firmware

Can’t download pics to iPhone 12 Pro Max with latest software version 15.1.1
Works fine with older iPhone SE software version 14.2
