This is such a amazing game very addictive and so much fun, I love how you can watch videos to earn a gold bar or parts and additional items so you can further your level in the game, once you start playing you won’t be able to stop it’s very entertaining, the customer support team at storm8 are amazing they are extremely helpful and really supportive, I’d strongly recommend downloading this game its super fabulous and so much fun

I love this game! Long time player! But…
Either update the game or shut it down. I understand it’s an old game, but many still play it! I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say, we could do without all the relentless pop up ads. At least there was a time where they were skipable but now, they interrupt gameplay and won’t let you skip til ad is finished playing. Extremely annoying!
Also now that we are in times where everything in the country is shooting up in price, it’s pretty ridiculous that it wants players to buy the majority of the stuff in game rather than just being able to earn some of it. It makes the game less fun when almost 100% of everything has to be bought with gold. Way to show your greed. I’m a player that has more important things to spend my hard earned money on.
Basically you cannot have a fun time on this game without basically paying for it. Shouldn’t be a free app if you can’t earn more in game rather than pay for most of it.

Decent game
I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years and I enjoy it. BUT - the weekly challenge has an issue with the farm. I have told developers about this several times and I’m sick of it. Example: a challenge might be to grow 10 buffbeets in an hour. I plant 7 and a few minutes later when I go to plant the other 3, the challenge tells me it’s expired. This happens often, mostly with the grapes and beets. Developers always blame my IPad Air 3 and my wifi, which by the way can handle 3 tvs streaming different movies at the same time, all while 2 of us are on our iPads checking social media. For the last time, it’s not the wifi!

Not always fair
This game is fun if you are NOT playing with friends. They randomly do some crazy stuff...like doubling costs for some people and cutting breeding and evolution times for others. When you contact TeamLava because you got the double costs, they say they can't fix the problem....really? Eventually they did revert it back, but they had already made me mad so I vowed not to spend any more real money. It has become all about what they can get you to spend buying gold. They offer things like a Diamond Temple for 500 gold that will increase your chances of getting valuable dragons, but they don't work! I realize this is how business works, but when you "rip" people off with false promises...we tend to get disillusioned and spend our money on better games. I hope TeamLava reads this and gets their priorities straight before someone else comes out with a similar game that is fair and we all leave Dragon Story to play their game...

Love the game and the ability to interact with other players. Very addictive. Bought an iPad for full game experience, wore that out and now have a high spec replacement, also high speed broadband to continue to enjoy the game. BUT now there are days, even weeks, that TL won’t allow me access to the game, with a message that internet is needed…..although I have full internet access and even receive notifications from the game. If your aim is to commit many hours only to be extremely frustrated by the game providers TOTAL lack of respect to players (apparently it’s the players fault, but they have finally accepted it isn’t) and the continued lack of dealing with the problem then go ahead.

Adding Quests for Gold
I love this game and everything in it but I would like for there to be an option to receive Gold for doing smalls quests. This is a feature in Fantasy Forest Story and I think it should also be implemented into Dragon Story as some people cannot afford to buy gold for the game.
So many issues
This maybe the second time I have ever written a review but I had too. First, after reading other reviews I’m certain the developers will not read this or if they do not care. Second, when you go to buy boost after saving up forever to get gold most times you have to buy it twice because the first time never counts but they still take your gold. Again, it takes forever to earn gold so they have truly set it up for you to purchase items.
Breeding, be prepared to breed the same eggs over and over!!! Not only will you breed the same egg a bunch it takes for ever for them to hatch. Then to feed them be prepared to need a bunch of food to feed them after stage 10.
I like playing this because my daughter does and we talk about it but if it wasn’t for her I would delete this game. The graphics stink, but again the developers do not care because others have complained and yet nothing changes.

Good, but used to be much better
I remember this game being really fun and enjoyable whenever a new dragon type or dragon design would come out, now they’re all pretty much the same just with reskins and color changes for the most part. Also so many of the new dragons aren’t even breedable! Like there is constantly dragons released monthly and once their events end no way of getting them unless you pay gold or use enchantment. Another issue is the saturation of “common” dragons for each event, which is really lazy since they are cheap gold producers and really a waste on habit space. Overall, the game is still decent, but the issues stated are critical to why this game is not as great as it was years ago. A suggestion would be either to start making newer dragons breedable or make enchantment easier to obtain since 1600,800,400 takes way too long to get for just a single dragon!!!

needs fixes & too much spam
Firstly, while loading my neighbors list, visiting their island, adding new neighbors, requesting mystic maps from neighbors, ect it takes a long time to load and that’s extremely annoying
Secondly, you need to add support for the iphone x and up. The game isn’t even full screen while playing so it feels like a cheap badly made game and i dont want to think of it like that, i know the creators are aware of this because in the preview pictures you can clearly see this problem and yet they choose not to fix it. The iphone x is now 5 years old this september and it’s yet to be fixed.

Game lags
I really used to enjoy playing this game, but I stopped about a year or so ago because the game lags terribly. Instead of dragons and lands per breed, I see thinking circles. The pictures won’t load. The whole island itself will, but even clicking on the land won’t allow me to see the GM dragons there. I have to click each individual dragon name in order to see the dragon. I thought it was my phone, but I upgraded earlier this year, and the issue persists which leads me to believe it’s the game itself. Please fix the lag. I’d probably start playing again if the lagging was fixed.
Update: I didn’t realize I had already left a review. I’ve changed it from 3 stars to 1 star because it still lags terribly and takes forever to load. There’s no point in playing when I can’t see the dragons because they never show up anymore.
