New design regressed accessibility for blind users
The new app design and update severely regressed the overall app accessibility for blind VoiceOver users. Before the design updates, the app was mostly usable, but whoever they got to build the new design seems to have completely forgotten about accessibility and usability across the board when building their web wrapper interface. Badly designed flows throughout the app, lots of ungrouped and badly labeled controls, headings misused and broken apart into individual swipe stops for each word within them, broken controls that don't work with screen readers, just a full failure of WCAG requirements through and through.
Full remediation is required for this app once again. Extremely disappointing to find the SFCCU app back in this inaccessible state, as if they completely forgot about how this all happened the first time they underwent a full app and site redesign.Show lessMarconiusiii
Not User Friendly
Straight to the point, I can not view my total balance from my line of credit, and I can not transfer funds from my line of credit because the app says I have insufficient funds, even though I DO have sufficient funds. But now, I have to use the website to make transfers. Overall, I’m not happy with the change. The old UI was simple and easy to use. This new update is not it.Show lessA Random Messenger User
Nice new look
Trying to get used to the new look, but it is amazing. It looks great. Everything is laid out for you. It’s very clear for the most part. It’s just like driving a new car though, so I will get used to it; but everything that I can see is all right there and pretty spectacular. I love the new update.
