No fail safes $$$ wasted
There is no location based address check to prompt you if your sure itβs the right address as you seem far away. (Like every other delivery service)
Delivery driver is out the front huh where are they oh great the other side of town at work. No way to pay for redirect, just forfeit the full cost of goods.

Instacart facilitates hacking - DO NOT GET THIS APP
My account has been hacked on instacart. I have been trying to get in touch with instacart via email or phone and literally cannot get through to them. I simply just want to delete my account as someone has clearly got access to it, and that very simply task is truly impossible with this company.
Do not download this app or have an account. You will literally never get through to a help service if something goes wrong. Truly just get ubereats or any other delivery service. I promise the others are better.

Awful experience. Our goods never got delivered. After several false promises of a redelivery we requested a refund only to have our account suspended until we could provide βevidenceβ that we hadnβt received the goods. How someone provides evidence of βnotβ receiving something I do not know.
Thankfully we used our credit card and will be seeking a refund under Section 75.

Been overcharged and late delivery
Placed an order from publix.
Got a warning some items might be cancelled and been asked substitutes .
At the end it doubled part of my order. We got 4 box of cereals instead of 2 and more add ons. Charged another $18 on a $90 order. Thatβs 20%.
And it was late.
Poor experience. Hated it. Wonβt return.

β100% satisfaction guaranteeβ is a scam
They claim to have a β100% satisfaction guarantee.β You get a refund if the item delivered is wrong or not good quality. I placed an order and got the item I wanted, but it turns out the information on their website was wrong. The item had ingredients that I cannot eat due to health reasons. I told them about this and was told they will not issue a refund. Gave me the run-around. Scam company.

This company is a fraud
Years ago a ordered my groceries online and I didnβt realise instacart created an account keeping all of my data without any security protocols. Now my account has been hacked and they tried to charge me hefty amounts on my card, which fortunately blocked the transactions. In addition to this, they activated a membership service and tried to charge me for this. They should have seen that I have never logged into my account. I managed to gain access to my account and close it. Instacart has taken no responsibility, they refused to give me a copy of my data and told me they didnβt see any transactions, while I have bank statements to prove what happened. They are just grifters, DO NOT trust them, they will leak your sensitive data and take no responsibility.

Frustrated!
Instacart is great for those who are in need of shopping assistance. Itβs very convenient, but the fees are through the roof. Iβm frustrated because I had to pay an extra fee for my groceries to be delivered around 8:00am when I ordered them at 4:00am in the morning. The time slot started at 10:00 am, and there was a fee to choose the 8:00am slot, whaaaat!. I was ordering for breakfast time, i donβt get that. Iβm not paying to have it delivered at 8 when the delivery time should have automatically started at 8am because of how early I shopped, and if ever youβre not able to cover a full tip, because of all of the other list of fees that are added, it is suggested that if there is no tip, your groceries are less likely to be picked up by shoppers. Is that the whole reason for the service, is to provide that delivery service. Also I wished that I could choose my shoppers, because Iβve gotten expired food several times, but I have had a couple of good shoppers who I wish I could choose to shop for me when I need certain things, the service can be improved. The service has its good and bad sides, Iβve just been disappointed too many times maybe. I havenβt given up yet because itβs so convenient. But the fees are beyond! and other things should be changed to be more fair for customersβ¦.just my opinion and experience.

π βπ΅π©ππ¨πππβ πππππ ππππππ ππ πππ $ππ. When I got home tonight I thought to myself gosh I'm tired. Do I really want to take that ride to the grocery store? Probably not. So then I began to sync. Well I'm really hungry, but there's not really anything to eat here. I've been picking up groceries for years. Heavy groceries my hip my back hurts. What can I tell you for some reason it just dawned on me that most people tend to like to use the Internet and I've been learning things about things about apps no I'm not that old I'm not that young, but I am smart enough to finally realize my back hurts time to get on the Internet, sure enough I find this thing called Instacart that this woman used to order from that I worked for and it sure did look great with those things were delivered to her door. At first I thought I'm not rich enough to be able to order things off for Instacart, and I can't afford it well think again with all the time I put into the libras walking in plastic bags of people in the store and a lot of unhappy faces. I begin to think it's worth every bit of money that I have to spend. So here I was an Instacart ordering they made it easy. They made it incredible so I am now waiting for my first order the end. I guess you can call me a happy camper.
