Wow a talking metronome. Its about time someone is making my life easier teaching my students how to keep time.
  • This is an awesome metronome, but…

I have loved this talking metronome for a very long time. My students also LOVE IT. We all PAID FOR IT when it wasn’t free. Now that it’s free, I cannot restore my ‘purchases’ nor can I remove the ads. I am bummed that this new ‘free’ version is now going to require me to pay for things that I already paid for in the past. I have a feeling it’s just a glitch in the new release, but it needs to be fixed.

  • Bravo!!

This app is exactly what I was looking for. I teach over 500 kids a week and this really helps them understand and keep track of the beat. It is great for my beginning band students and my exploring music students. I get a funny feedback sound some of the times when I put it through my sound system in my band room. I hope this can be fixed. The kids love it!

  • Nice if it kept time

I really wanted a metronome that did exactly what this one is supposed to do: keep time, and allow adding subdivisions in the 1 e and a 2 sort of system.

This one does the subdivision thing exactly as I want it, but the subdivisions are out of time.
  • It does it's job :)

It's great although I would like more voices ... And not weird voices •_• the counts really help with learning dances though and it's funny listening to 16th counts wen it's fast :D hehe I do recommend this app I just wish it was improved
  • Polished looks, awful voices.

There's only one voice on this ("Mishayla") that doesn't sound bored, unpleasant, or like a complete joke. I can understand the fun of having a "Kermit" or "Vader" voice, but the kermit imitation is AWFUL, and the Vader voice sounds okay except for 5 and 6 which sound drastically different from the other beats, and nothing like Vader. The "croak" voice sounds awful, like they got their kid brother to do it. The "normal" voices mostly just soumd like they've been working at a job they hate all day, and hate everything else as a result. The way the numbers move is just not very helpful. With people who had any kind of training in voice acting, this could be a great app, but as is there are much better options.

  • love the voice metronome

Taking guitar lessons again it's very helpful to hear the actual counting.
  • **Awesome Metronome: Brilliant App**

I absolutely love it! I've experienced other devices speeding up or lagging behind. This metronome is on point and precise. Exactly what I need to practice along with rudiments on a drumpad (for example) or during the process of recording acoustic guitar or live drums. The last voice selection is the best and the one I'm using right now.

  • Speak Beak

Speak Beat is nice alternative to the regular click track. I find it fun to practice to a voice saying the beat/pulse other than a click.
  • nice job

a great app. the voices are really fun.
