  • Haunting

I like atmospheric games like this. After solving both the end, and the follow up ending, I was left with somewhat confused by the apparent twist. Is there a third ending?
  • Beautiful and short for the price

I want to give this game more, I really do, and I'm sure a lot of work was put into it, but it's like maybe an hour to 2 of playtime and then you're completely finished with it, no replay value at all. KEEP IN MIND that can be ok, not all games are meant for that, this game is super artistic and done really well. But my main issue with it is that it's FOUR DOLLARS, if I put that much into a game, even if it's not a repeditive arena game, I want to have MORE. This game should be in an art show or something, not a 4 dollar app.

SPOILER ALERT ... After the credits I got all excited because of the little hint they give you, but I was really disappointed that the mysterious box just has a newspaper and a note in it. I was hoping for more puzzels. ALERT OVER.

If you like confusing story lines that leave you thinking and don't really tell you anything then buy it I guess.

  • Needs a few minor improvements

Haven't yet gotten far into the game but straight away I struggled with the fact that there is no tutorial or hint system in the early game. Gameplay seems a little dull at first impressions and I found myself getting lost to begin with in the strange side scroll based world. Being that I sometimes don't know where I should be heading to, this can be quite frustrating. I would also critisize the price; to me it does not seem like a $4.49 game, more something you would pick up for $2.49 or no more.

Regardless it is still pretty fun, although I would appreciate some sort of guidance or hint system.

  • The atmosphere

Cost feels a little steep for <90 mins of play, but it's a quality game that you won't find duplicated.
  • Atmospheric puzzle game

Didn't know what I was buying until I began to explore the game in a very curious manner. Does have a slow build up but, you get sucked into the game with it's atmospheric art and sounds. Recommend playing this at night.

The puzzles are interesting to solve and I liked how you had to jot some of the clue downs, so that you can solve the later puzzles. Only problem I found is, now and again some puzzles didn't present itself as clearly and I was left completely blanked out on what to do next.

Overall a good game worth playing, just wished there was a bit more before reaching the end. Also download the Companion, which is free that relates to this game, adds that extra dimension to this game.

  • Amazing.

This is a work of art as well as a brilliant puzzle game. The story is deeply compelling, the visual landscape is so evocative, immersive and beautifully haunting, utterly dreamlike, like an art installation experienced on an iPad. 'Experience' is a good word for it, as it's more an experience than a game, one that will stay with you for a long time, and one that I can't wait to revisit. No hand-holding here - if you want to be told what to do this isn't for you. The atmosphere reminded me a bit of Blair Witch Project, and also the vast snowy darkness of a Scandinavian forest at night. I LOVE the way it's never quite clear who or what these malevolent mythological beings are "out there", so much more unsettling then being faced with your typical adventure game villain or monster, and the first real jump scares I've ever experienced with a computer game. Get it.

  • Loved it!

I admit I had to look online for a walk through because I got a bit stumped, but I loved it!
Make sure you get their companion app which helps explain the folklore (and makes the game even creepier)

Got a few good scares out of me in parts!
  • A little guidance perhaps?

This was a real disappointment. It looks amazing, and feels great. But I had no idea how to play it. I spent 30mins trying to get it to do anything before finding a walk through, which instructed me on what I actually looking for to continue the 'game'. It too told me what extra controls were needed, and that I needed to have sound turned on (a feature I rarely use in mobile games - unless it is indicted). By that point, I'd already seen too much of the walk through to give a lot of the point of the game away and the experience was lost. And, like the description said, I did get the companion app, which told me little more than the backstory to the game that I could not work out on my own. I was also disappointed to see the length, as for the money I'd expect a much longer game with a lot more purpose. Please market this as the interactive story book it is, and for the sake of the frustrations of my short gaming attention span please give some indication on what the heck you are supposed to do.

  • Game of the Year material

This is a work of some considerable genius, and yet another change of tangent for Simogo. Unique, brave, clever, alien and utterly captivating. No handholding, barely a word of text, but its clear you are in the hands of masters who know exactly what you are thinking at any given moment and leading you with one hand while gently plying their psychological tricks on you with the other. I am completely blown away by the maturity and confidence of this, and I think this is one of the most interesting, fantastic titles on iOS. Bravo, gents, you deserve all the success this will no doubt bring you.

  • Amazing and haunting.

This is absolutely amazing. Haunting. And will leave you feeling...it's hard to explain. But worth every cent.
