Screwed Me Over One Too Many Times

This app was great at first. It was accurate and I knew I could rely on it. But over time it’s given me incorrect departure times, and I’ve arrived at the station five minutes before the train was set to get there, only to hear it depart on my way in more than a few times. I don’t know if this is BART’s fault or the app, but other BART apps seem to be more accurate than this one.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback and for using Easy BART. The app works by showing data from BART's central system (pass-through / unaltered). Is it possible you're looking at the scheduled departure times and not the real time departures? Schedules are what bart has planned, but often the trains run behind - real time departures are generally always in sync with the trains. If there's confusion around this, there may be an opportunity to improve how this information is presented.

Not a good app, unless you want to miss the BART

I used the app several times and it failed me several times. I would show up a couple of minutes ahead of time only to find out I missed the train 5 mins ago! Now that the pittsbay train is going to Antioch, the app hasn’t put it together so it won’t show the schedule for the pittsbay train. Ended up deleting this app, you should too.

Thanks for your feedback and for using Easy BART. A patch is in development to show the Antioch trains (apology for the delay). Great app, but needs an update

New lines have been added but do not show up on the app yet. Otherwise the app is great and the widget is extremely helpful.

Needs update.

Changes in destination From Pittsburgh/Bay Point to Antioch has caused the app to not include the entire line in the Antioch direction to not appear. Rather frustrating as I missed the last train because of this error. Unable to return home having to find a friend’s to crash til morning which took two hours. Finally at 2am I got out of the cold wind. Ruining my sleep, cat unfed, inconvenienced a household, and have to fly home for fresh clothes to return to work.

Love!

...so much that I bought ads free! Really would an iPhone X version in the future

Too many ads

This app itself is OK. However, after a few weeks of using, it will pop up several full pages of ads every time when you launch the app. Not the small ads at the bottom of your screen. I mean FULL page. And it will sometimes direct to other sites. Very annoying. Deleted from my phone.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback and for using Easy BART. Sorry you experienced this - is this still occurring? Ads should only be shown if you explicitly click on a banner. Can you share what version of the app / iOS version you're using? Best Regards.

Confusing!

Every time I try and use this app I regret it. So confusing and not easy to select the station you are at and the station you need to get to. Surely there must be a more intuitive way to do it. Plus the map is not helpful either.

Plan a Trip?

Why is there no “Plan a Trip” feature?? It would help a lot for days I need to see what train I’d need to take on a certain day.

useless

always say cannot connect server when I try to open real time departure or open advisory. hard to use route information. I also don't see paid version has any difference. The only useable function is to view map and that's it. I could just download a pdf map instead.

Simple

Easy to use, even for first timers like myself.
