  • Total mobility card

    I am wanting to use this app, rather than be on hold on the phone. But we are unable to use a Total Mobility Card using the app. I think you should add it as an option. Otherwise we are given the full price which has to be paid on the app, rather than the discounted fare which we get using the card. I hope it is added soon.

    We know there’s significant demand for this and want to offer it. Total Mobility is an initiative run by local Councils. We need to liaise with each individually to implement it, so that will take some time. Please bear with us! ^CH
  • Eons better

    Heaps better than the iHail app!!! Very responsive, and the app doesn’t suddenly die like iHail does all the time. Only two complaints are: 1. I can’t book ahead of time, and 2. Drivers at the airport do not know what their unique ID is. So every time I get a cab from the airport queue, I have to do it the manual way.

  • Voucher card not accepted. Still no schedule pick up?

    My employer has given me a TaxiCharge voucher card to use for two trips but the app won’t accept the 6 digit voucher card number to add it to the app for payment so Im not sure how this is meant to be useful. I would like to book a taxi prior to the day of my flight but this is still not possible?
    The taxi firm has a website that allows me to prebook a taxi so it seems this app is designed for someone to hail a cab at the time they need it only. Booking a cab seems like a basic feature. Work to do team.

  • Hopeless

    Almost impossible to create account
  • Can’t use it as a foreigner

    Without having a local phone number, I can’t create an account. I want to support the local business, please add support for foreign numbers!
  • Can’t book a taxi in advance

    Tried to book a taxi in advance, only option after entering pickup and destination is “Confirm” so did this assuming there would be another option to select a “ready now” or set a future time, but instead it went straight to “contacting drivers” and charged my credit card. Cancelled ride. Awaiting refund.
    Won’t use again unless there is an ability to book in advance.

  • Doesn’t accept longer phone numbers

    I have a phone number which is a NZ number but one of the newer ones starting with 0204, total of 11 digits. The app doesn’t allow this, it restricts to 9 digits with the leading 0 dropped (which would be a 10 digit phone number with the 0 included) so I was unable to setup and use last night. The app should allow 11 digit numbers, as they’ve been around for a few years now and are becoming more common.

  • Load of bs

    Tried to log in using my Apple ID; the app wants to send a verification via your phone number. This takes forever. It never arrived. When I asked for a resend, it told me to wait one hour… Also please try using proper English grammar instead of displaying your ignorance in your messages

  • Not international traveller friendly.

    They insist on sending you a SMS on mobile. It fails when someone like me arrives at midnight, and doesn’t have a local SIM or roaming. I just had wifi and couldn’t use it to book a car service.

  • Useless for tourists

    Trying to register with a non New Zealand number despite being in the country doesn’t work. Useless for tourists. Waste of time.
