  • Better drivers than Uber

    I’ve found that the Zoomy rides I’ve had have been better drivers than Uber. I know the same drivers tend to drive for both companies so maybe I’ve just been lucky. I like that it’s a NZ company and the drivers receive a higher portion of the fare than Uber.

    I’d like to see a tip function added to the app because I’ve had a couple of excellent rides and I’d like to tip my drivers

  • No customer service aspect

    App is ok but i’m extremely disappointed in the lack of customer support when being screwed around by drivers. You can watch them drive actively away from you on the little map, click the call button to contact them but when they don’t pick up there is nothing else you can do except cancel the ride - not what I want to be doing whilst waiting in the dark. There seems to be no way to report a driver for this which I thought would be a key aspect of a customer service app.

  • Poor service

    I emailed Zoomy about a ride where my driver stopped to get gas 4 days ago and have yet to receive a response. I feel I was wronged because I was made late to my appointment and was charged an extra $5 just to sit in a car waiting for my driver to fill up his car. Zoomy hasn’t even acknowledged my email let alone remedied the situation

  • Used to be Impressed

    Update: Zoomy did what uber did and raised their prices :))) and now they have the same prices=ubers better since the gps has no problems. Being transparent with the fees is still a plus

    Uber raised prices on my set prices several times without notification and so i downloaded this and oh my goodness???its amazing.
    I would say its a bit slow in contacting the drivers and the map is kind of unhelpful but its not that much of a big deal. I would say for future improvements though it’s needed thus why the 4 stars :)) other than that the prices are just simply amazing and i LOVE how they’re transparent with the fees (eg. Service fee, distance fee and base fare).

  • Recurring issues with pickup addresses

    The Zoomy app regularly gets my pickup address wrong, even when I manually type my address. The issue is caused by the Zoomy app, which converts address data to a GPS coordinate when sending information to Google Maps. The actual address is often lost in the process. I’ve tried giving Zoomy this feedback via email but no response. Zoomy, fix your app!

  • Idea

    The app is great so far but I think it needs some more features. Etc drivers sometime are on another job and it would be helpful to know if the drop off is close by to us or going in the opposite direction. This can help us decide if it’s worth waiting or let the driver go for another driver that’s close by. Cheers

  • Pick up point

    I live down a long drive and it was raining so when prompted, requested a pick up point down the driveway. The driver didn’t come down and when I asked him about it he said drivers didn’t get the pick up point just the address.
    What’s the point in having my location accessible and having a pick up point??

  • Good but

    Love the service and the fact it is NZ owned. That said, the app needs to learn when to stop accessing the user’s location info. A good point to do that would be after a trip is finished. This morning it kept using my location until 5 minutes after the trip is finished. Thanks guys!
  • Won’t accept my card details

    Sure this would be great if I could use it. Let me take one trip but has now decided that my card details are invalid... forced to use Uber
