Shady App and Service
I have reached out to customer support three times without resolution to this issue.
The cab driver did not stop my ride, and there is no method of cancelling the ride from with the app and uninstalling/reinstalling do not work. This means that my credit card will likely be charged for a huge fee as the cab driver has not “ended” the ride.
I do not recommend the headache this app provides nor the terrible customer service it comes with.

Address/GPS is terrible
I love riding in cabs but will be using Lyft moving forward as I have had too many experiences where the driver has supposedly ‘Arrived’ and they are in the wrong place. To add insult to injury the drivers don’t always have their phones on AND it is impossible to get help in app when you have flagged a ride.

Homophobic, religious fundamentalist driver
Never again. A hate preacher driver who hates gays and Jews. What a bruising, abusive experience. I feel damaged by using this app.
Functionally works well but no response for missing receipt
I used their service before and always got a receipt. But my last trip, there was no receipt sent. I checked my spam and garbage inbox as well.
I contacted them by leaving them a message through their website twice and once through their app for a receipt. But they never replied.

Flywheel App is Awesome
This is THE best taxi app and may be better than Uber. I like taxis because they have fingerprint background checks and Uber doesn't. Nice app!
Taxis are still the better option
I will always use cabs because the are safer, more knowledgable, and the money supports the local economy (city & drivers). I always get a cab in less than 10 mins but I do live downtown. It just easy...
$683 Overcharge through app
Flywheel has you put your Credit Card in their app, which I did. After getting out of the $15 taxi ride I discovered they charged my card $683. I called to request for my money to be returned and the guy on the phone laughed at me. Then I sent two emails requesting my money to be returned. Finally, someone said 5 to 7 days it would take for the funds to be returned. I have now been forced to file a fraud claim with my bank against the app. There is a major flaw in the app that allows drivers to charge whatever they want on your credit card and drain your bank account (even if temporary). Worst is the apps customer service as I didn't even get an apology from them for taking $683 out of my bank account for a $15 ride.

Best transport option
Flywheel is muchbetter option than the app based transportation companies who have no rider insurance protection or dedicated drivers.
Still the best.
After irritation with constant surge pricing and the questionable ethics of ride shares I looked for better ways to use taxis. I have always found there was a ride available and the drivers are friendly. Plus, unlike rideshares, the driver knows exactly where they are going. I'm satisfied with the app and the experience.
