  • Great game

It’s a great game that can help kill the time when you are at the airport or dmv. But man, it’s so addicting it can take up a big chunk of your time if you are not disciplined.

It’s similar to advance wars with the same infantry, artillery, tanks, and air units. Quirky story but amazing level layout. It makes you think and solve, and rates you on your performance. Gold is good but blue is best. Aim for all blue and you have a game that last you a very good long while. Totally worth the $5.
  • Great Game BUT it keeps crashing

This is a great game. A nice little version of Advance Wars for the Nintendo DS.
Unfortunately the game keeps crashing when you or the computer destroys certain purple blocks. It would be nice if the developers fixed that bug.
I have already deleted the game and reinstalled it, the glitch is still there.
  • No restart option anymore?

Sucks now that there is no restart option anymore. I have to lose in order to restart? Pathetic!
  • Exceptional!

SUCH A GOOD GAME! Please for Warbits+ can you add new units (particularly the sea) and AI for versus mode (e.g. if you do a four player map with two people, having the AI as the other two players). I LOVE THIS GAME!
  • But…

Great! An advancewars clone! So fun! ….but, No way to restart a level when you make an error, which pretty much makes the game frustrating and unplayable, as when you fall behind there is no way to catch up, and killing off all of your units is boring and time consuming. Ouch.
  • The best.

Must have played this thousands of times.
  • SUPER Late to the Party

So what if I’m about 6 years late on this review? I started playing Warbits again recently and it hit me that I’ve never left an honest review for it. It’s never too late I guess. That being said, this game is LEGIT. It has been one of my favorite iOS games since it was released years ago, and has been one of my favorite strategy games in general. I’ve played a lot of them, so please take that as a big compliment. I won’t drag this review on, because other reviewers have already praised it for its gameplay, visual style, music, dialogue, etc., etc., but DANG I love this game! The only super minor complaint I have is that it’s not full screen on my iPhone 11, and that once in a while little glitches will happen here and there, like charges flying off the screen upon earning them, and a few icons not lining up properly. I’m still giving it 5 stars though, because for a game that’s been around this long, it’s still super fun and looks great. Devs, please create more games, or magically update this one, because bravo! Sincerely, thank you for this gem.
  • Greatest Advance Wars Clone available

If you’re missing good ole advance wars 1/2 on the switch, or like me you’re patiently biting your nails waiting for the reboot…. Then this game is for you! Trust me, it’s well worth the pricetag for the nostalgia it’ll bring. Even the music is styled after good ole AW. So goooooooood 🤘
  • Love this game

I’ve been playing since it’s release at the time I was 9 years old and I begged my mom to get it since it looked cool. Didn’t realise how fun and addicting it would be. I’ve downloaded and deleted it many times there’s just something about it that cant make me stop playing. It’s so simple and the one best turn-based strategy games I’ve ever played. I used to play it with my brother and sister during long car rides and I loved playing against them. I’m playing the game again to complete all the challenges and the last time i downloaded it I fully completed the campaign since it was too hard for me to finish when I first got it. I’ve played it a lot over the last 6 years and have many fond memories tied to it. This game is really underrated and not enough people play it. It’s a great game to pass the time and I wish the community was more active. I can’t believe I haven’t given the game a review until now and Thank you to the two creators who made this game and took them 4 years to make it.

    I can’t wait for Warbits+

O Ye I’m 15 now and this game was one of the few games that inspired me to want to study to become a software engineer/game developer
  • Best single player strategy game on iOS!

As a long time Advance Wars fan, I turned to this when Nintendo recently postponed the AW remake. It was a blast, with some rule changes to keep things fresh, and steady elevation of the challenge in the campaign, which I just finished. I should mention I turned away from Warbits years ago because I thought the unit graphics were hard to distinguish. I still think that, but it is very much worth the effort. Can’t wait for the upcoming sequel!
