Awesome game, worth the price
This Advanced Wars clone is great, it runs smoothly and is a ton of fun. I’ll admit i bought it for the nostalgia and it delivers 100%. It needs more DLC campaings but there is plenty of content to justify the 5 bucks.abaybay99
Good On The Go Strategy
The game feels a little like Advanced Wars. They story is not super serious nor deep but I would say it is a fun experience when you need to scratch your strategy game itch on the go. It also works alright on MacOS even if the controls were not designed for it.Jedimasternx01

Really good but one issue
Sorry to write this in a review but couldn’t find another place to report a bug. When I have a unit on HQ, how do I tap it to pull up the powers menu? There needs to be a way added to do this.

Best Advance Wars clone on iOS
If you are looking for a copy of Advance Wars on your phone, this is about as close as you can get! It doesn’t have the battle cutscenes, but frankly, I didn’t miss them. Even the art style feels like a modernized AW. Lots of different game modes here, and great fun. Sadly, it’s been several years since it was updated…Show lessHouseOfHomuth
Awesome
This is the best strategy game on iOS period. Playful and easy to start, but hugely complex and rewarding, to master. I have been playing this for years, and its much like chess or stratego (old board game). The game play has intricacies and is super clever and just plain entertaining in places, without being a time drain!
More, guys, more complex enemies and new boards please!

*update* apparently the code used to make this app is too old to update to the new screen sizes, but the devs are working on a brand new version of the game which will blow this one out of the water. just thought I’d share with everyone wondering the same thing i was.JaimeWhit

Pretty Darn Good
It's a good advanced wars like game. It's doesn't look super in good in my opinion. I had to ding it a star because I found all the missions pretty easy and then the last mission was next to impossible for me. I had to give up trying and that's kinda of disappointing. I know plenty of others have beaten it. I guess I'm not so good at the game. Wish there was a difficulty setting or something. Oh well it's not the end of the world. All in all its pretty fun. Definitely worth the money and it's super nice there isn't any of the stupid in app purchases garbage.Show lessMaine Jay Bird
