Good when it works
Apparently THX has forgotten about this app. I’ve used it several times with good results, but on my new tv it seems to have become somewhat buggy. More often than not it opens then immediately closes, or won’t open at all.
Finally got it to work today with a lightning to hdmi cable. Never could get it to work with screen mirroring. Doesn’t appreciate it has been updated in a long time.captap202

I had been having the worst time getting my Samsung TV to look good with ATT TV. Finally found this free, powerful, and easy to use app. Picture looks great now and all TVs in the house are consistent with each other. I’d pay for a updated version!
It helps with sdr content, mainly color, contrast and tint. Don’t use it for anything else. iPhone cameras have got much better, be nice of the app was updated on that alone.

We NEED a new THX Tune-Up App
Been using this app since release and have found it extremely useful for SDR content. With 4K HDR content the new norm this app is now useless. Please update the app!
Also for anyone claiming this is calibrating their TV is sorely mistaken. All you’re doing is changing basic settings. Actual calibration is done using a hidden service menu that a professional technician can access using software or special button combination. The reason why it’s hidden because it can damage your screen if not properly configured whereas basic settings won’t damage screen.InZain86
