  • It’s a well deserved 5 star product.

Been using Timely on and off for about eight years now, trying out other apps in between. But lately, I fully recommitted to using Timely. Timely transcends as more than an app—it's a testament to my productivity. Its keeping me on track with work and side gigs like no other tool. I feel balanced in my work. AI on Mac OS does all the data gathering and I just focus on getting things done. Seeing my progress boosts my motivation and by day's end, I know exactly how productive I was and gives me accurate work time easily. So, I'm pretty hooked on Timely, and that’s my shout-out.

  • Perfect for freelancers & remote workers

I have used Timely for 4 years and love it. Easy to use and great for logging my time when working for 2 or more businesses at a time.

I got Timely specifically to track my work on my MacBook, it monitors what apps/website I am on so if I forget to set my timer I can still get an accurate account of how much time I spent working on each business. It’s brilliant. And the data stays locally on my laptop so I know it’s secure.

I use this with the app as I can easily set the timer on my phone and start working.

Only update I would love to see is memory tracking on my phone so I can add chats and message times in on my work hours.

  • Nice way to track time

I feel the AI could be much better.

That being said the app tracking and time is spot on.

iOS app needs dark mode, generally use it for putting tasks into there categories which is painful, but I guess it’s better then doing it all manually
  • Does not automate

In order to automate tracking Memory Ai application is required. But they haven’t created an iOS app. Very misleading. Mediocre
  • Way cheaper than a human personal assistant!

Timely reminds me precisely how I spent my time allowing me too accurately bill clients as well as keep track of how much time personal projects are getting my attention, even family time. It makes working as a freelance digital nomad much, MUCH easier to keep track of. It integrates with Harvest. If you were working as a US citizen then however much it costs is deductible from your business operational costs. Nothing is free, really. Get over it. This is a great app!

  • Way to expensive!!!

Greedy. Non transparent. No way I ever pay that
  • Where’s the subscription prices??

Forces you to download the app and sign up to a free trial before showing subscription prices that will automatically renew after the trial ends. Sneaky, but not sneaky enough. Deleted the app once I realised.
  • Really tried. It just doesn’t work

I tried to use this app for months, I really wanted it to work....it just doesn’t. It does integrate with the calendar but misses several appointments every day. I gave up
  • Huh?

My, saw the price elsewhere. $6/month. On the edge for a single purpose app but...looks like another app that doesn’t need to rent to do little more than collect what is essentially text data. I want to see developers that can stop trying to be millionaires or billionaires by renting software. Sell software then offer upgrades we can buy if we want or need new features. See Agenda’s cash model. Offer a free level. Sell a premium. Period. For a reasonable price. You charge mire than ClickUp, which does far more.
Worse, it is hard to know looking on their website what the differences are between Solo & Essential. Is the free trial only good fir essential, so they get you hooked and frustrated?

    Been using Timely with memory tracking for the last 12 months and can say hand on heart, it’s the best tool I’ve found for tracking all billable hours with great features as;

    > Auto tracking (never miss an hour)
    > Supports many applications
    > Reports are amazing
