My one and only time tracker
I use this as my primary time tracker for all of my freelance work. It's super easy to use and understand and it has been such a huge help with invoicing and marking certain hours as paid. I love that I get a super quick snapshot of how much time I've racked up as I go and the fact that I can seamlessly go from desktop to mobile has been essential for me. So simple to use
Genius. Very easy to use. Even if you're not billing by the hour this is a great tool to see how long tasks and projects really take.Niquenom
Not there yet
Has some nice features but lacking in important areas, the biggest of which is you can't set your hourly rate to a decimal. Which makes the app essentially useless for calculating pay for anyone who doesn't earn dead on the pound.
My other issues were that it's actually a little too colourful, the colours aren't soft and welcoming but overly saturated and distracting. Also being able to add more than 1 note/tick box to projects would be an essential addition that is sadly missing.Show lessStead10
Latest update killed everything that was great about this app.
I’ve been a big fan of Timely since I started using it a few months ago, and it was one of the very few tools to take the coveted spot in my daily schedule. I’d tried countless other systems and this finally seemed to check all the boxes - I could see my whole week at a glance, forecast the hours I would need and it became effortless to plan upcoming projects. Then they completely changed the way it works, now everything is ‘task based’ but their UI just isn’t cut out to be a task-based app, I no longer can see how long I’ve estimated tasks to take, and can barely make out what I’m supposed to be working on in the week ahead. Too many bugs
I love the concept and design of Timely, but am experiencing severe bugs in the app both on iPhone and desktop (web) version. Time slots disappearing and then (sometimes) returning hours later, the timer turning itself off (with the hours that were meant to be logged disappearing) and the sync between iOS and web app also doesn’t seem to be working. Practically unusable and has already resulted in a loss of income on my part.Show lesscatticus_m
Timely does it all!
To say I'm impressed with Timely, would be an understatement. Timely provides what I've been longing for. As a consultant working numerous hours, managing numerous projects, I've been looking for something simpler for tracking working hours. This surely has been a dreaded task in the past, but Timely puts the process as ease! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an efficient, simple approach to time-tracking. Perfect for managers and freelancers
I used this app to manage my team (actually the desktop app) and with this new mobile app, they made it even easier to work on your projects and track time.
UI is great and really use the touch screen the best you can with my iPhone 5, UX is GREAT, never wonder how to do something In this app.
Last, the connectivity between the desktop app and iOS app works great for me, it was shown instantly, probably something fixed from previous reviews/versions.
I give it 5 stars for the time it makes me save.
