Great app until latest update! Recognises my 2 UE Booms (which have both had their firmware updated) and says they are paired for stereo but unable to get any sound out of them. The iPhone tries to start audio but then straight away reverts to pause. Still able to get them to work individually though ! Please sort it out to get the 5 stars the app otherwise would deserve

App and speaker error
My UE Boom 2 is connected to my phone and I would be playing music but when I access the app it says "Let's hook up" even tho I am already connected and there is no other option to access or look for my boom 2. I can sometimes turn my UE Boom 2 with the UE Boom app but when I reopen the app the same problem as the I stated occurs with no solution in sight (on the app users side). Regardless of the lack of connectivity/communication between the app and speaker , the speaker is remarkable great sound , amazing all around there is some static sound when the volume is all the way which can distort the music but lowering the volume a few notches rids it of the static noise. In conclusion I'm giving it 5 stars due to the speaker quality but it'll be a strong 3 and weak 4 stars for the app unless the connection is solved for a more efficient use of both the app and speakers.

Latest update not properly tested - do not update!
The concept of the party up and connecting more than just two speakers is great... if the app did any of the basic things. Dual speakers no longer automatically connect when they are turned on (have to use the app to connect each time which is annoying). The app no longer shows the battery life of both speakers. And the "smart" power on is just an icon on the screen - it doesn't actually do a thing. Most certainly does NOT remote power on any device.
Oh, and sudden, instant drains in battery life on the devices are commonplace. Buggy software at its best...

Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear
When I first bought two UE booms and downloaded the app they worked reasonably well together although the system was never perfect. Then I made the mistake of allowing the app to update and the system has gone from not perfect to poor and then to embarrassingly bad. With the latest update I am able to turn on Boom 1 (but not on the first attempt if I closed the app the last time I used it). However it never retains the double up lock with the second speaker (Boom 2) and this has to be repaired every time you turn the speakers on. When you have then doubled up the speakers the second speaker is not fully recognised and its graphic in the app is just in outline and always shows the battery level as full. I use the app on my iPhone 5s and iPad Mini and get the same result. This app makes a mockery of buying two UE Booms to get stereo sound.

Triple up?
Hey guys, the new update looks great and has some cool features, however we need to be able to remote turn on 2 speakers for a double up. Also with the new UE MEGABOOM, I would absolutely love to purchase it but I can only double up, so this means I will still have one UE boom left out. So if you guys can work on getting a 'Triple up' for all the people who already have 2 UE Booms and want to purchase this amazing MEGABOOM to connect with them for a lot more Bass, that would be amazing and I would definitely go get my hands on the Megaboom. Thanks soo much. :)

Brilliant system
This is definitely the best portable Bluetooth speaker and app setup on the market. Before purchasing the Boom I read and watched countless reviews and comparisons to other brands and today gave in and bought one. App works seamlessly with the speakers and it's very user friendly. Glad the update is available with EQ controls as the bass response does need to be tweaked a little bit. One other update to the APP that I think could easily be done is the ability to use your phone as a microphone for the speaker, This could turn the boom into an almost portable PA system and would have even more uses. Just some food for though, anyways apologies for the long review but it's rare a product comes along and genuinely impressed me!

Awesome Music 5 Stars
Love the UE Ultimate Ears Boom speakers. The best loud sound from all the wireless speakers I have had and tested yet . And because of this app I purchased a second UE Boom speaker and connect and use both at the same time in stereo mode which sounds great with my iPod touch 5th Gen and iPhone 5. Not one issue with this app as it has worked perfectly every time I use it.
Well done to the developers of the app and the makers of what is the ultimate wireless portable speakers on the market today. 👍👍👍

Outstanding Speaker
I have a pair of the UE Boom speakers and love them. They are water resistant (I take one in the bathroom while I shave or shower). They also have a standard tripod thread input on the bottom so you can mount them on an inexpensive point and shoot tripod. There is never any guessing about battery charge; just press the up and down volume buttons simultaneously and a verbal response tells you the exact charge level. These are Bluetooth speakers (not Airplay) but with the UE boom APP you have the ability to use two speakers; both stereo or one as left channel and one as right channel. Amazing! And I forgot to mention the these jewel have a 15 hour battery for all day fun. They are cylindrical in shape and put out music 360 degrees. The come in a variety of colors to match your taste. They feel solid when you hold them. You know that the build quality is good. Try them out. You will not be disappointed

Great product, lovely design and decent sound for the money
I wanted a convenient portable speaker for my iPad and smartphone. I bought the UE Boom more or less on the basis of the design rather than comparing the sound quality against the competition at a similar price level. Removing the device from its beautiful cylindrical packaging is a pleasure in itself. Nice rubberised casing, with colour coordinated flash + or - to control volume. It looks like a little relay baton but has a great solid weight and feel. It works straight out of the box. I used it first to make a skype call to my daughter in distant Georgia (the country) and the sound enhancement was great. Music reproduction is good but perhaps could do with a tad more bass on rock numbers. Great for soundtracks on movies. All in all this is a good product and I'm very happy with it. Well done .

Great sound worth the money
Awesome sound, clean bass. When you pair it with another one it's like an actual boombox. I did a bit of research before i bought one and its worth the money. All the positive reviews were right. I take it everywhere, travelling, teaching, at home. People often look to see where the sound is coming from. Bluetooth connection is brilliant. No problems pairing at all. Easy set up and fast charge. Lasts 3-4days straight with constant use. Love my UE Boom.
