CBT helper
I have anxiety issues and I need a useful tool to assist CBT, for which I find this app very helpful. I like the functions of thought journal and coping card, and the advice is very helpful to remind me of the CBT concepts and put that into practice.
Useful app!
In all, I give the Mindshift CBT app a 4 out of 5. It is a helpful tool for building self-regulation skills and managing anxiety. The approach that Mindshift CBT takes is structured, and goal-oriented which underlines the structure of CBT well. There are multiple different strategies and coping mechanisms provided to fit a range of users' specific needs. In addition, a user-friendly digital platform makes it a practical resource for adolescents. However, the app’s restricted community access to users under the age of 18 highlights an area for improvement. Because adolescents tend to use social platforms to express themselves, integrating a section that the younger group of adolescents can access would add more benefits for that group of users. Overall, I would recommend this app to struggling adolescents, as well as to adults.

MindShift review
As a social work student, learning about MindShift CBT has become an invaluable resource in my journey to support adolescents facing anxiety. Its user-friendly interface ensures seamless navigation, making it accessible for adolescents to incorporate into their daily routine. While the app excels in delivering evidence-based interventions, enhancing social connectivity features could further enrich the user experience, fostering a sense of community and support. Overall, MindShift CBT is a must-have for social work students and practitioners alike, offering comprehensive support for adolescents navigating anxiety.

Review
I'm a teen who suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. I can't get a therapist (because of parents) so I'm trying to find other ways to cope. The breathing exercises and calming and relaxing. Tracking my anxiety levels will be good to show to my doctor later on. This app is the only good thing my school has recommended to me. I will say, if I'm in a deep panic attack, sometimes I'll do the breathing and it won't really work instantly. But I do realize that it can take time especially if I'm so
deep in a spiral. All and all it's a great app and I like it a lot.

I AM 18
I only got this app today, and I will probably be updating my review once I get a better feel for it. However I wanted to point out something. After filling out all the things needed to sign up, like putting in that I was born in 2005, I went to see what the community page was like. Once there, all it said was “Access to community is now restricted to users who are 18+ at the start of the calendar year”. This is frustrating because I’ve been 18 since January. At the very least it should ask for birth month in addition to birth year, and then correlate their 18+ rule based on that instead of at the beginning of the calendar year.

Ama
This app is sooo deserving of 5 stars! , as someone going through a really ruff time with anxiety, having so many useful resources in one app is just so beyond helpful. The ‘taking action’ tab is something I would highly recommend checking out if you are feeling stuck as it actually gives you actionable steps to help u move forward one step at a time, which honestly is so rare for mental health apps . Although I am still struggling to push through my anxiety I’m very optimistic about continuing to use this to help me even just become abit calmer . Genuine thanks to the creators of this for providing so much help for free!🙏🏽wishing everyone the best with whatever they’re going through hope this app can provide u with some relief 🙌🏽💖

I love this app!!
I struggle with social anxiety and I find that the little cards help so much. Even when I’m stressed about something I will either write it down or read the cards to help myself cope with it.
It’s Okay But…
I wish you could test the app before signing up. To top it off, storing information on an app is well…anxiety inducing! It says information is stored on your phone but in that case—why do you need an account? It seems fishy, honestly.
It makes me wonder if the people who made this application actually have anxiety disorders. Forced sign up isn’t a great start.
I recommend using a meditation app instead. Yes, you need to sign up for one, but at least you’re not recording all your personal thoughts into an application.

Could be more in depth
I like it, it’s not a bad app, but like most of these reviews say it needs to go deeper than “Great” “Good” “Fine” “Ok” “Bad” because there’s such deeper emotion than those simple ones.
Also, I know it’s directed towards anxiety but I think it would be beneficial to have some other options, even if they’re small, targeted towards things like depression or anger.
Still a good app, but some things could be better about it.
