Trying to catch you slipping
I was part of state bank before and from the old app it was very up to date with charges. This app doesn’t tell you account balance for up to two days. So if your not carful you will overdraft. But that’s where they make their money.ghs9115

It gets the job done after about 3 tries
The mobile deposit feature is extremely frustrating. It always takes at least a few tries they it to go thru. It doesn’t recognize numbers or words written on the checks. Half the time it just freezes up and you have to close out and start all over again. It’s been a great test in patience, but that’s not a banks jobShow lessthe guy with the checks

BankPlus has been a amazing financial institution to use for the past 6 years! Always prompt with return phone calls which are very seldom because my concerns or issues are usually handled during the original call and/or visit.R Rue
Cause of much frustration
Setup of the app has your account total plus overdraft protection amount with your actual balance listed below, in smaller font size. The setup makes it easy to confuse what your actual balance is. Plus you have to subtract any pending transactions yourself to figure out your actual balance. This is an issue that needs to be fixed, but probably won’t be because it helps BankPlus charge extra bank fees. An employee actually told me that the setup was probably created like this for that purpose.Show lessJWill1289
Account Balance
Why do you put the actual amount in the account in small font below the amount with overdraft limit in big font? Wouldn’t it make sense to put the amount that is in the account in large font? The way you have it now is very misleading and can cause people to overdraft. Or is that what you want? I’ve been with BankPlus for 8 years. Could be better
The app works fair enough. It would be nice if when you are already in one account and would like to transfer to another it wouldn’t make you pick them again. It would also be great if every so often BankPlus wouldn’t switch the placement of the accounts around. But the worst is BankPlus recently changed which balance they show in bold. Making it appear that you have more money than you do. I personally feel that this change is so they can get you to overdraft to make them money. When I brought this to their attention they of course denied it and would not give me a real reason for the change. So if you want a bank app that is fair and may or may not be cheating you this is the app for you.Show lessbeubanks88
Staying up to date on amount
I like having the app and being able to deposit my check with a picture however the app doesn’t update your account quickly. Things will go a few days staying pending while others go through, it don’t make sense. So I have to calculate what my true amount is in the bank. So I think transactions should go through quickly if possible.
Also you shouldn’t have to choose a nickname to be displayed by our review which won’t let you submit until one is not “taken”Show lessRadermom
Try to trick you into thinking you have more money
The new app update shows the “current” much larger balance in bright green and big numbers but shows your actual available balance in tiny little numbers you can barely see. This needs to be changed NOW. Tired of BankPlus trying to trick you in any way they can just for an extra overdraft fee.lauraaloo22
