I find that handling my accounts on line very helpful except for one BIG problem. I have a number of accounts that are through Chase Card services. You USED to list them with an account number; however, you stopped doing that, so now I have to use a paper bill and a stamp to send some bills out. I am thinking about switching banks because of that.

Horizon Bank App

The Horizon Bank App is great! It gives all the necessary information to review and control my banking tasks.

I wish they would improve fraudulent transactions, like alerting me to fraudulent transaction, because the bank fraudulent identification company that Horizon Bank use is not user friendly.

The fraudulent identification company recently missed a transaction and now the bank is tracking it down. The FIC people did not handle the fraudulent transactions as I instructed.

Relatively easy for me

I don’t do too much but have been able to navigate my bill pay . Like that I receive an email once the payment made. TCF didn’t do that. Don’t change again please. I was with Sagelink they changed, Chemical, they changed twice now! I’m tired, you must be too. Thanks for making it good for me at least.👏🏻

Horizon bank

The interface was better before the last set of updates. At that time you were shown a list of your accounts. Now you have to scroll through them. The more accounts you have, the longer it will take to find the one you want. If you could permanently change the order they appear, it would help. Or you could go back to the way it used to work.
I have never liked the Horizon app for bill paying. I have three banking apps on my phone, Chase, 5/3, and Horizon. Chase is the simplest to use, Horizon is the most difficult.

Slow and unpredictable.

I bank with a couple other banks and every ATM and online service that I use with them is fast and in real time. Horizons systems are all very slow and take too long to update. The only reason I signed up with Horizon is because one of my customers who pay me through Horizon checks. But every time I do a deposit through the mobile app or through the ATM, it seems like forever for Horizon systems to update. If I didn't need Horizon to cash these checks, I would leave them for sure.

Excellent customer service

Branch manager Pam Kincaid is awesome in Houghton Lake, MI, she explained the required details for approval when inquiring about a mortgage, helped me thru the setup of our small business, got my 16 year old daughter setup with her youth account and resolved any issues that came up when the bank was switching company’s. As far as the app, since it has been updated it is more user friendly and any issues she can always resolve.

Checking account

Great job in reporting. However, I cannot find a tab to print out my activity…….this s still the same. You need to include a separate tab to be able to access the ability to print I still don’t see a tab to be able to print out my checking account I still think the ability to print my banking activity should be an option

It is a good point that the only way to download or print from the mobile app is by using the e-statement download option. Recent activity printouts are not yet available on the app. This feature is currently only available on the desktop / browser version of Horizon Online Banking. Excellent service!

I absolutely love the kind and friendly bank tellers! I truly appreciate how helpful the they all were as I transition to handling all of the banking once my husband became disabled. Previously, he did all the banking, so it took me some time to find my way through all he had been handling. Your staff patiently guided me and never stopped showing concern for his well-being.

Easy and intuitive to use.

App is what you would expect from a banking app. Mobile deposits are easy and credited to your account within a day. The text features for alerts and bill pay reminders are useful. The app is on par with the full content website minus the promos. My banking is done while I have coffee in the morning. I like.
