Rewards are listed but wont apply at any store
I downloaded this app because of the free kolache with any purchase reward but never could get it to apply at over 15 stores in Houston, Lubbock, McAllen, or even in Louisiana. Now the same issue with the free Oreo donut with any purchase. I see the reward listed in my account, but when I go to checkout in the app or even in the store no one can make the reward work. It’s extremely frustrating especially since they email me reminding me to use the reward. Ugh! Zero stars since this is making me want to go elsewhere for donuts.

Charges you fees for every order
I wanted to like the app since I love Shipleys, but they charge you like $2 every time you order with the app. What’s the advantage of using the app for the customer if you pay that every time???
Pricing problems and items
I like the app except for a few things. The first thing is that when you order a dozen donuts, you can’t get it for the dozen donut price. It adds them up individually, which is not what would happen if you bought them at the store. The second things is that you can’t even order a donut bowls unless they are the specialty donut holes. I just want the regular kind. Lastly, you cannot use your rewards. When I apply it, it never applies to the order, no matter how much I try it. Other than that, it’s a great app!

Great App, Poor Execution
The app is great and easy to use. Unfortunately the execution of the order at the store level is not. Maybe a different location will bring better results.

I just love using the app to order, it’s easier and rewards are always a plus. I wish my local location had donuts where the dough is chocolate. I see 1 listed on the menu but it’s not offered here.
Why isn’t there an option to upload receipts?
My whole family love Shipley Donuts. I was excited to see the app. Download and tried to use. My local Shipley didn’t receive the order though it charged my card. I used it once out of three times successfully. Our local Shipley employees on Hwy 99 are fantastic, but I regularly go in to order because of unreliability of this app. I don’t get why there isn’t an option to upload in-store receipts for points as well? It can’t be hard to enable. Most other restaurants have this option. You’re missing out on tracking purchases…which is the point here, right? And your loyal customers aren’t rewarded for their patronage. Also, was going to spend some serious money on gift cards at Christmas and Shipley doesn’t offer those either. I had to go elsewhere for those. You’re making it awfully hard to buy from your company. Update options, please!

App could be better
The rewards are never redeemable. I can see them in my “wallet” but when I click redeem I’m told there are no rewards available. It won’t let me order ahead 3:4 times. It’s just easier to go through the hecka long drive thru line.

Horrible service!!!! Ordered special donuts for my daughter to take to class on Valentine’s Day. Woke up early to order them to ensure she’d have them in time. I get to the shop and they tell me they didn’t see the order. And there would be a wait, which would’ve made my daughter late to school, so we left empty handed. I called back for a refund and they told me I had to call DoorDash?? Which I’ve never used. They told me if door dash can’t do anything then I’m just out $35. We go to Shirley’s every Friday morning, but we will never return again. Awful service.
