Very disappointing..
I just got a whole new HVAC system that came with this thermostat / app. I had a Nest before. This app is terrible. I want to be able to set a schedule. The app lets me set one, but keeps resetting the times I choose. Last night while in bed, I decided I wanted to change the temperature. I got a confusing message, and it never did change.
Things are much harder than they need to be on this app. Also, why doesn’t the app show the humidity like the thermostat does? It makes no sense. I miss the ease of my Nest.Show lessPugLover23
Doesn’t work at all
The app fundamentally does not work. No way to link the thermostat to the app. Consistent error messages and no way to contact customer support. Even the installers said the lennox app and thermostat are terrible.

Need Apple HomeKit
My new HVAC unit required this thermostat in order for some of the advanced features to work. I replaced an Ecobee thermostat that I had integrated with my Apple HomeKit smart home set up. The old thermostat worked great but this one does not integrate with HomeKit, so it is like a major step back. I can’t understand why Lenix won’t do something so simple as to integrate with such a commonly used smart home system.Show lessGM676537764

I don’t mind how simple the mobile app is but i’d love to have the latest features other products have and be able to use homeassistant and apis to manage MY equipment.Blahism
Needs some fixes
Overall the app is mostly functional. The big issue for me is that the smart away function often doesn’t trigger based on geofencing. I went in a trip yesterday over 100 miles away for half the day and the thermostat never recognized that I was away.
As another reviewer mentioned, the proximity option does not work as desired. With the proximity option toggled on, I will need to really wave my hand in front of the device in order for it to recognize and wake up. But then, I’ve noticed that over time the screensaver will never appear like it is always awake.
The sleep options under current temperature does not seem to reflect in the app when the sleep hours are active. I have sleep time starting at 11pm, when 11pm comes there is no sleep icon next to the sensor I have designated as my sleep time sensor. Hours later it seems to finally appear in the app but not at the correct time.
There are some nice to have items as well, such as being able to see which stage cool/heat is running, having humidity displayed along with temperature in the my Home Screen so I don’t need to click on each sensor to view the humidity.
Being able to configure alerts for humidity would be helpful as well, such as a phone notification when a sensor measures over a customized humidity level.Show lessjbrian00
