Could be great.

Spent a lot of money on a new system and thermostat to be disappointed. No homekit option. Hoped it would show the fan speed on my variable speed furnace and air conditioner. Years behind nest and Trane. Hopefully they will continue to update could have potential.

Dazed and Confused

Sadly, Lenox is known for its many technical issues. They are also known for releasing their products before they are ready for prime time. This new s40, or i40 thermostat with the app only works have the time. For four of my 12 zones it works once every four months. I have to manually go to the main thermostat controller and adjust it. The service technicians at 1-800 Lenox are pleasant enough. That is, Once you get through to them. They do try to help guide you, at least the ones I have had, however they can’t fix the issues. So what good are they then? I have call the installers and they not only charge for a service call, understandable, but they are charging an additional $25 for gas! That should be their cost of doing business. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER purchase a Lenox HVAC system. NEVER. Many better companies, like Carrier and Trane. I so so so wish I had never gone forward this company. Always having issues.

Update Full of Bugs

The recent update has caused the app to become unstable and shows incorrect temperature readings.

Very disappointing..

I just got a whole new HVAC system that came with this thermostat / app. I had a Nest before. This app is terrible. I want to be able to set a schedule. The app lets me set one, but keeps resetting the times I choose. Last night while in bed, I decided I wanted to change the temperature. I got a confusing message, and it never did change.

Things are much harder than they need to be on this app. Also, why doesn’t the app show the humidity like the thermostat does? It makes no sense. I miss the ease of my Nest.

Doesn’t work at all

The app fundamentally does not work. No way to link the thermostat to the app. Consistent error messages and no way to contact customer support. Even the installers said the lennox app and thermostat are terrible.

Don’t waste your time.

Thermostat will not consistently maintain schedule hold programmed into the system.

Away feature doesn’t work

The way feature doesn’t work and they don’t care they don’t answer my emails. Don’t listen to the Saleman! They lie

Glitchy an in accurate , hope it gets better. Miss my nest.

Smart Away Doesn't Work

I've tried everything. It never works. That's the biggest reason to have a smart thermostat. For a $1000 thermostat you'd think it would work
