  • Unusable

    The app simply does not allow you to scroll over far enough to the right to be able to access “my home”. It also likes to revert the changes you have just made randomly, so you have to stay on the screen for a very long time to allow it to “take”. The furnace is great, the app is utter garbage compared to something like “Nest”. 😢

  • Cant register

    The app only allows for an American ZIP Code to register it. no good in Canada. I can’t progress any further without it.
  • Not at all happy

    Way to smart, does too much on its own, home is not kept comfortable, and just a outrageous price. We do not like it at all I hope we can trade it in or get a refund as we are not happy with it at all. We are seniors and we certainly did not want or need anything this advanced. We have had two different technicians here to look at what it is doing but they too found it very advanced and had some difficulties serving it

  • Challenges with multiple devices

    Works well for one thermostat, but the app crashes every time switching between two thermostats within the home is attempted
  • App and thermostat is terrible.

    The thermostat itself is inaccurate. I have measured it against 2 other thermometers and found it to be 2-3 degrees higher than the actual temperature. The app is buggy, sometimes not displaying what the actual thermostat is displaying. Very frustrating and disappointed.
  • Says my system offline

    Got new system about 6 wks ago. System working well and wall unit shows connected to wifi/ router/etc however as of this past week app continues to state system offline. Deleted app/ reinstalled — did not fix. Even disconnected wall unit from wifi / reconnected— did not help. Google search has not helped with a solution. Not happy that I can’t access system from app.

  • Reinventing the wheel and making it square

    Lennox keeps changing the App for each thermostat. Unfortunately, I have several units of different ages and and now have to use 3 different apps. The display brightness on this one works poorly. Connecting it is a hassle. NEXT works much better.
  • Could be great.

    Spent a lot of money on a new system and thermostat to be disappointed. No homekit option. Hoped it would show the fan speed on my variable speed furnace and air conditioner. Years behind nest and Trane. Hopefully they will continue to update could have potential.
  • Dazed and Confused

    Sadly, Lenox is known for its many technical issues. They are also known for releasing their products before they are ready for prime time. This new s40, or i40 thermostat with the app only works have the time. For four of my 12 zones it works once every four months. I have to manually go to the main thermostat controller and adjust it. The service technicians at 1-800 Lenox are pleasant enough. That is, Once you get through to them. They do try to help guide you, at least the ones I have had, however they can’t fix the issues. So what good are they then? I have call the installers and they not only charge for a service call, understandable, but they are charging an additional $25 for gas! That should be their cost of doing business. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER purchase a Lenox HVAC system. NEVER. Many better companies, like Carrier and Trane. I so so so wish I had never gone forward this company. Always having issues.
