First time using the app yesterday and my entry to the US was a BREEZE!! Thank you.
Snap a photo and go
While heading towards immigration, I selected my port of entry and snapped a photo of myself through the app, submitted it, and then literally walked through immigration. I just showed my phone with the submission screen as I walked past the officer at the exit. Doesn't get any simpler than that.
Premature Release
Here’s a thought, don’t release an app, or include ports of entry if that particular port isn’t utilizing the app (or has never even heard of the app, for that matter). Went through ATL yesterday and the officers literally had no clue about this app. Did not cause any problems more than a 2 minute delay to go back to the kiosk, but seems to me this was rushed to roll out and should be communicated with its officers about its use.
