Horrible experience
Either they just give you articles that nourish has already published or they make you count calories - for both I don’t need their help.
I was late to my consultation once because I was working and I lost track of time and they charged 100% of the consultation fee. I understand that it is important to make sure you’re fair to your nutritionists but how is it fair to take 100% because even though I joined late I asked if we could continue in the remaining time and she was nowhere to be found, which means she wasn’t waiting for me or working for that matter, she took a break so why should I pay for that break? I deleted the app and never coming back to it ever again. Horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend this at all, better just talk to your PCP and get a proper nutritionist. They provide a very half baked solution which is not helpful at all. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!

Regarding the fee issue you mentioned, it appears that your session started significantly late, which unfortunately necessitated its rescheduling by your dietitian. Our policy requires appointments to begin on time or close to the scheduled time, and late arrivals may incur a fee as it would be considered a late rescheduling (we permit cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice from the appointment; any changes made within 24 hours will incur a late appointment change fee). This policy is communicated and acknowledged by all clients prior to booking their initial appointment. Your feedback regarding the content and approach of our nutritionists is highly valued. We are dedicated to continuously enhancing our services to better meet the unique needs of our clients. However, due to limitations in visibility from insurance providers, we can only offer an estimate before claims are formally submitted. For a definitive answer on coverage before your appointment, we always recommend contacting your insurance provider directly regarding medical nutrition therapy with Nourish. Additionally, please note that claims typically take 2-3 weeks for insurance providers to process, and unfortunately, we have no means of expediting this process. We apologize if the time it took for your insurance provider to process these claims was longer than expected, and we are actively investigating this issue as this is certainly not normal for us. Loved my dietician but check your insurance!
My two star rating is due to the insurance. I don’t think it’s a scam but at first I used their calculator and it said I owed $0. This is the exact message - “🎉Your insurance covers Nourish!🎉 We expect your sessions to cost $0 out-of-pocket — That means your insurance will cover 100% of the cost”. I booked weekly sessions for about 2 months with Cate then I get an invoice in my email for $45 and a message stating one of my sessions was coming back with a $45 copay. I checked my insurance EOBs and I owe $45 for every session which I’m just now receiving. I now owe close to $500 for all of my sessions. I wish I would have checked with my insurance instead of taking their word for it. I don’t know why they told me it’s covered when it’s not.

Great program, so easy to use - no hidden fees

With all that being said, Cindy is awesome. Like any intake, she wanted to get to know me and get a clear picture of my eating habits. Within three sessions, we were able to identify a HUGE trigger for my weight gain/inflammation. I'm down almost 17 pounds in one month, and my gut issues are starting to heal. I know my results are not typical, believe me, but having someone actually listen to me, and not try to pump me full of meds was a relief. I'm sad this wasn't available sooner. I would have never thought to speak to dietitian but it makes perfect sense.
