I received an email from TDS stating to activate my deposit protection account, either do it on their website or use this app by entering a code. Nowhere in the app is there a place to enter a code. Entered it into various text fields, nothing. I contacted support asking where I need to enter this code to activate my deposit, no response. Some words are not even spelt correctly, like “Propery Alerts”. Some text fields aren’t programmed correctly, like not being able to delete all characters in a text field because it keeps re-inserting the first character when you try to delete it (meaning you have to type a character, then go behind the new character and delete the first character which is a joke). The advertising is misleading and not transparent, like telling me in the email about building my credit score and on the website, which after digging is actually an excessively priced subscription. The characters in all the marketing art are highly creepy. After no response from the support in the app, I search online and find out you cannot activate it in the app anyway, as you need to do it on the website first and THEN use the app, despite the email about activating the deposit saying “the easiest way to do this is with” this app… I’ve had many tenancies including with TDS and never had a problem, until they’ve launched this tlyfe mess that has overcomplicated the 1 job they have, while tenants already have enough stress and things to do when moving home. Poor. Avoid the app and just use the website if all you’re looking for is to activate your deposit protection account.
