Never receive ticket

I bought my tickets 3 months prior to the trip, yet 2 weeks ahead of my trip I still haven’t received the ticket, and I cannot cancel it, one of the worst ticket booking service ever

Would not recommend

I booked two sets of tickets for travel in China. They sent me an email notifying me that I needed to choose another time and that I had 60hrs to do so or my ticket would be cancelled. No problem for me. I chose from their list of alternative times and fare classes. I received a confirmation email from them regarding my choice. Then they canceled my bookings. I sent them the confirmation email they sent to me and the response was that I didn’t choose in time. You get one chance to make a first impression and they blew it for me. I read some reviews afterwards and it seemed that many others had a similar experience although at least they refunded my payment.

Obscene service charge and no customer service.

Attempted to buy tickets From Lyon to Barcelona. Some how the spelling was changed to Leon. Right after tickets were purchased I attempted to modify, to cancel to talk to someone to submit a case. No way to contact no way to speak to any one looked at information about train ninja to discover the service fees are 50,00 euros for the service that one would pay 7,95 euros for service in a reputable site. This is a company I would advise you stay away from.

Major flaws

Was easy to book ticket. However there was no chance of changing ticket 24 hours prior to journey. Can only send message to support centered not respond. So had to buy a new ticket at the station. Needs to considerably improve customer service with a call center or at least a online chat.

Bait and switch scam

I purchased the fastest train between Seoul and Busan. After accepting my money, I was notified that I’d been moved to a slower train (which costs less). Fine, stuff happens but when I inquired about a refund of the fare difference they told there wouldn’t be any. What is to stop them from doing this with every customer? Total scam, total bait and switch. Complete garbage company. Stay away!!!

Cancelled tickets

I had a reservation, rail ninja cancelled tickets less than a week before ride. Traveling abroad and know am stuck trying to figure out how to get where I need to go while traveling. Customer service response is to just buy tickets at station, no idea if that will work. It appears I can still buy tickets on the app just at a new marked up rate.

Overcharging!!!! Beware!!!

I got the tickets reserved through this company and then I found few hundred dollars cheaper through other website, but what they get you with is a “nonrefundable service fee” which is also over two hundred dollars. Although the app is convenient, but tickets are overpriced. First time the rail ninja canceled my tickets due to “overbooking” which didn’t happen on other site, second time they didn’t refund me full amount. Please don’t use them unless you want to overpay for nothing, because “service fee” is outrageous!!!
