Fraudulent company beware!

Charged for train tickets that never arrived!
It has been on processing for weeks and nothing never came. No support except some useless typical email, no phone number to call. Bought the tickets on the regular train company and had my bank involved to fight the operation, don’t get fooled here. No such thing of non refundable tickets, fight it!

Disappointed

I booked 2 ticket ( VIP ) to go from Seoul to busan. They not put us together. I send email to ask and they said based on their system our ticket seat together. Turn out we seat seperate and different car no. What the purpose we do reservations and pay vip if in the end we not put to seat together. Very disappointed . πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

It seems there was a misunderstanding about the class options available on the Rail Carrier, VIP class is not provided by the Rail Carrier. In Korea, there are two classes of comfort: Economy class and 1st class, with 1st class offering more spacious and convenient seating. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by being separated and understand the importance of traveling together. The car attendant should have been able to assist you in finding seats closer to each other. Please note that seat assignments are automatically generated by the system, especially for reservations made close to the departure date. To ensure a smoother experience in the future, we recommend booking your train tickets in advance. This way, you have a better chance of securing seats together and avoiding any potential misunderstandings.

Unfair prices

The website charged me 200$ for tickets that I discovered later on worth no more than $85 !!! Their answer was taxes & fees but how come these fees are double the original price?
Do not use their service it’s a big scam

Overpriced tickets, try other apps!

I was directed to this app from the Korean Railways website, only to find out after my purchase, that the same ticket would have cost me 33% less elsewhere! (50$ instead of 75$) They have a non refundable 15$ service fee, be aware! Take your time before booking and look around on other sites/apps!

Mostly convenient!

This app was wonderful to easily make my plans for my upcoming trip. The only issue I ran into was the app would not accept my 2 VISA credit cards the first 4 times I tried! But hang in there….the fifth time was the charm.

No refund going in 100 days

I would give this company a zero stars if it were possible! Our train was canceled due to weather and we have not received a refund in more than 100 days. While they have given a very polite and very quick response every time I’ve emailed it seems to me that this is just a way to put us off so that there is no refund coming ever. they keep saying the refund is coming but to be patient and understanding. I think after 100 days my patience is now worn out. I would not deal with this company again. I will update this review if ever I receive a refund for the train tickets that could not be used because the train was canceled.

Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. While we understand your concerns we have to admit that Rail Ninja is not the rail carrier and does not maintain the train schedule. The information is provided accordingly on our homepage. Rail Ninja main goal is to provide a perfect trip planner and smooth online booking. But still, we do not operate trains and train stations. Decisions on ticket refunds are solely under the responsibility of the rail carrier.

Don't do it

I purchased tickets for certain date and they emailed me tickets for a different date. I only realised when I went to the station and printed the tickets. The rail company couldn't refund me because this app use their own credit card to purchase the tickets not yours so without the purchasing credit card their are no refunds. I asked Rail Ninja for a refund and they refused stating the reason was because the tickets had been printed. Poor excuse.
I lost $1000.
