  • Insightful & Kindly Challenging

If you are aware that you need to improve your outlook about yourself, others and life in general, this app is for you❣️Usually, I don’t sign up with apps which require payment. At least this one gives a sizable initial discount so that you can decide whether its plan is personally relatable. (Actually, the price is quite affordable. I can be a miser).😁When compared to the help I’ve received from my therapist, this far exceeds my expectations. If you are having to take a back seat in order to survive daily responsibilities, this app will help you value and evaluate your own personal needs. That way, you’ll release the mental pressure of feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. Give it a try. Why? Because you’re WORTH it❣️
  • Not Personalized, Inattentive Customer Support

I took a quiz online from an Instagram ad to receive personalized content for my situation and needs of procrastination. The plan I received was very generic and activities to program did not fit my needs. There was no real instruction on how to use the app, and certain parts I didn’t feel were relevant to me, yet I had to answer the prompts and do the lessons (which was high level content most people would be familiar with) before I could move on. Additionally, it repeated the same day twice, and the wording in several moments felt awkward. I reached out to customer service for a refund but they refused it, saying it was actually personal to me. They didn’t correct the bug I experienced, they also did not answer several parts of my email and questions after they denied me the refund. do NOT recommend. Sleep / focus sounds are nice and the concept itself is great, but this company lacks integrity in my experience.
  • Scam - don’t do it.

This app is a scam. They charged me $99 in May, where it NEVER shows on my Apple ID like every other app/subscription. There was nowhere on the app I could figure out how to cancel the subscription so I didn’t think I would have a renewal (also sketchy). I asked for a refund and was refused. They said they had permission from my Apple ID but can’t seem to explain why it doesn’t show anywhere in my subscriptions or in the App? I don’t consider that permission. I was then under the impression I had at LEAST a year because $99 is ridiculously expensive. And it doesn’t show up in my subscriptions so there was no way to know otherwise. I find out last night this was for 3 MONTHS??? And now it’s $59 for a LIFETIME? So what did I get charged $99 for? Such a scam. The customer service responded but didn’t offer any assistance either time. Just a “sorry we tricked you and now it’s way less expensive but wasn’t when we took your money”. I am extremely unsatisfied with this app. Not only with the way they conduct business, but the fact that the few times I tried to use it, I got nothing out of it. Didn’t learn anything new. I would highly advise to not give this app any of your money. Nice to see someone else was offered a refund but neither time I was so I wouldn’t trust that as an option.
  • WORST APP EVER DO NOT BUY

I rarely ever write reviews, however. This “Liven” app tries to show you that you can get help and that they care about your well being. It’s all a front just to get money from you. I have downloaded the app, used the app, have not received anything beneficial from it and wanted to stop using the app and get a refund. I asked them and their customer service immediately refused because I haven’t met their terms. Their 3 terms are to contact/email them about refund within 30 days. Use the app consecutively for 7 days. Then to show proof with screenshots that you have used the app for the 7 days. I have done all 3, and after emailing them after 7 days, they didn’t care, and just said that “you didn’t meet the 3 requirements”. They’re thief’s and just want to take your money. They don’t care about your well being, nor anything you say after! Don’t even care that their platform isn’t helping anyone whatsoever. DO NOT DOWNLOAD NOR PAY THEM ANY MONEY! THEY WANT TO STEAL MONEY AND WHEN YOU TRY TO ASK FOR A REFUND THEY WILL REFUSE NO MATTER WHAT.

  • Credit Card Fraud

I don't normally write reviews for apps, but I have to for this one. I used the app for about 20 minutes before I decided it was junk. Definitely not what I thought it was from the advertisement. The customized plan is not customize. It is cookie cutter.

Also, I thought I had canceled the trial, but I have not (admittedly that is my fault). I didn't catch the reoccurring charge for a few months. I went into cancel the subscription and was unable to because for some reason the email address that I use was not on file when I contacted customer service they told me they wanted the first six digits of my credit card and the last four digits in order to look up my account. That is a lot of credit card information to give someone via chat online, which was the only way to contact them.

It's looking like I am going to have to cancel my card to get them to stop charging me for something I didn't want, didn't work, and honestly unsure at this point if they are even legit.
  • Thieves!!!

If I could give negative 5 stars I would! I never do reviews but I’m at my wits end and want to protect others from their corruption! I told the company I never authorized charges and they REFUSE to compensate me. After I sent them an email, they responded about not refunding me, but right afterwards, they are now trying to charge me AGAIN! This is only 2 business days later!! (last charge was Friday of last week new charge appeared today, Tuesday)$60 each time! I don’t have the app on my phone and never used it!!! It’s not even under my app subscriptions in my iPhone (their link directs you check under iPhone subscriptions). They are frauds and thieves and causing a hardship and refuse to help me! I will never recommend them to anyone. Don’t fall for their scam!! I had to cancel my card and go jump through so many hoops to try and protect my money. They have even made another attempt I was able to block, so that would have been a total of 4 unauthorized charges within a 3 weeks time span! 3 of the 4 were within LESS THAN ONE WEEK apart! STAY AWAY! I am reporting them to BBB and may need a lawyer because I don’t know when it will all end. I can’t afford $100’s of dollars every week for something I NEVER used and NEVER authorized!
  • Money grab-should not be a paid app

I am very disappointed that I purchased this app and am requesting a refund. You can only complete items once every 24 hours. That seems absurd for a paid app. My schedule changes daily and I never know when I’m going to have free time, so for instance, I didn’t get to work in the app until after 11 pm last night. I assumed it was fine since it was still yesterday but it’s now tomorrow and I’m still unable to move on and if I want to be able to complete items during the day rather than after 11pm every night, I have to skip today all together. The only reasoning I can deduct from this is that you want users to be forced to renew their memberships to get thru the material, so you ensure they can only do so much at once. This feature alone was enough to cause me to pursue a refund.

In addition to that, the app is also lacking in features. For a paid app, there should be a lot more content and resources. The mood options are limited and I cannot go back and look thru any of my mood journal entries or course assignment submissions. This further supports my theory that this app is just a money grab.

I think this is a good starting idea; I don’t think it’s ready to be a paid app. It does not deliver what it promises and it’s limited content and capabilities is very frustrating and much more representative of a free app.
  • So much potential…

As a mental health counselor, I love the premise of this app and believe it is spot on with how it guides people through traumatic experiences and processing repressed emotions from their childhood. However, the way that they structure the subscription and make it a pain to cancel is just a really poor business model. They be would be much better off in the long run to just make it like every other app out there where you can easily cancel it through your apple account. People are subconsciously going to just feel put off by any subscription that requires you to send an email to cancel it and that’s a shame considering this app has so much potential to help a lot of people. Additionally, perhaps I am just missing something but I cannot figure out how to view my previous days’ journal entries which kind of defeats the whole purpose of a journal. I think if they fixed these 2 things it’d be an easy 5 stars!
  • Minimal effort help

The app helps me create minimum tasks to accomplish throughout the day and track my day to day emotions. It provides brief reading information about procrastination habits and how it affects our emotions, then asks you to create a short journal entry about the topic. You’re getting advice through the daily reading sections as it collects your journals and mood tracking data, as well as a collection of weekly surveys throughout your “plan.” It is not overwhelming. I do not feel analyzed. I feel that it’s gathering helpful information over a period of time that will benefit me in the long run. I highly suggest this for anyone suspecting ADHD symptoms as an adult, or even for someone who wants to create better habits for themselves.
  • Not for me.

I was a bit disappointed with the Liven app after subscribing for $30 per month. While the money-back guarantee policy is standard, I was unable to get a refund despite my dissatisfaction, as the policy states they cannot provide refunds due to "personal or financial reasons” as the customer rep told me.

The daily content and checklists felt quite basic, with limited substance per day considering the monthly subscription cost. I also found the personal quiz to have little relevance to the actual content provided, which could have made the experience more tailored and useful.

Overall, I felt the value did not quite match the $30 monthly fee. A preview of the content before subscribing would have been helpful to set realistic expectations. While the app seems fine for some users, in my experience it felt a bit lacking and slightly deceptive in terms of the connection between the quiz and the content delivered.
