  • Great customer service

I signed up for a three month trial subscription but simply found I just never used the app. (It was me, not them) True to form, I forgot about the subscription until I received notification that it was being renewed for a year. Since I had responded a day after the charge posted to my card, I figured my bad, and emailed to cancel the subscription not thinking I would receive a refund.
Customer support reached out and asked if I would share why I was leaving (which I did) and then boom- refund posted same day.
Excellent service, but I just never used the app as I thought I might.
  • Premise is great, but feels like its missing

The premise of the app is awesome. But the lessons sometimes feel like are missing something like examples or more information. The moods options are too generic or specific. There are only six: Angry, excited, sad, calm, happy, stressed. Sometimes I don’t feel like any of those. Maybe anxious or depressed, worried, or even neutral. The Daily activities could also have an update. Like for example, if you’re adding a custom activity/task, it should be saved as a custom option so that you don’t have to write it again the next day.
Anyway, I believe this app has a lot of potential and I want to continue using it and giving it a try.
  • Horrible customer service.

Sorry this app wasn’t what it was advertised as. It wasn’t made clear that you had to request a cancellation through their site. For something aimed at ADHD patients you would think those processes would be clearer. I have emailed them 6 times and yet no response. I called the number on the PayPal app and got to a rep that obviously didn’t want to be at work that day. He yelled at me because I couldn’t hear him well and then said he put in request to cancel my account and I said what about the refund and he quickly said what warrants a refund? I said the fact that I don’t want the services and you just pulled the money out of my account yesterday so if we are canceling today I should get a refund. he told me that I would have an email with my cancellation request and I would get a email once I made a decision about the refund. I have not received any emails from any part of their company yet.
  • Thought this could be great

I saw an ad on Instagram and thought maybe this could help my life with a focused plan, helpful reminders, and daily self challenges to keep me on track. As soon as I created an account, clicked on topic I struggle with and I’m instantly hit with the subscribe pay $30 a month. I don’t even know how the app operates, functions, I’m not going to blindly pay hoping your app is able to help, I have no clue how effective it can be because you can see or “try out” anything past the subscribe page? I mean come on, mental health is a major issue and you’re probably banking on desperate people to pay upfront as they seek a means to change their lives.
  • Small changes, big impact

I find myself accomplishing a lot more each day by using the guidance in Liven. The suggestions are simple, small and clear and you are not hounded all day with notifications, etc. It’s definitely up to you to apply Liven’s advice. A word about the activities- I adapt them - if I can’t go on a mountain hike- I go for a long walk outside or use the gym treadmill on an incline while watching a nature video. A lot of the activity suggested is just pulling you away from your phone which is a blackhole of time and therefore takes away fulfillment at least for me.
  • Great customer service!

I downloaded this app in hopes it might help me sort through some of my mental health issues. However, I can’t look at my phone as much as is required to be successful with this app, and I only used it for two days completing one task. If I had kept using it, I have no doubts that it could’ve been extremely helpful! I did contact customer service to request a refund although I didn’t meet the eligibility requirements for receiving one. And even still they processed a refund for me and I had my money back within like two or three days!!! They didn’t have to do that and I am very grateful that they did!!!!
  • Not a good app for guidance

I am not impressed with this app at all. It doesn’t prompt you or notify you to fill things in for the day, I can’t go back to other days to see what I entered, and it is so basic that I truly regret the amount I prepaid for a six month subscription. Somehow this app is supposed to help you stop procrastinating, but it does nothing to prompt you to remind you to go into the app and complete your daily tasks. I bought this subscription to help me stop procrastinating, but somehow I am supposed to remember to go in everyday and fill it out? This obviously is based on junk science and not put together by true professionals. Do not pay for this app, it is worthless.
  • Does not offer what it advertises

I unfortunately experienced what many others here have. During the onboarding for this app, you are promised a personalized plan, but what you receive is a very limited user interface with no personalization, minimal resources, and a basic daily mood tracker. The lessons have many typos, and the advice they give is all over the place.

I’ve contacted support several times for a refund given that this app does not provide what it advertises. The refund policy is incredibly suspect, stating that they don’t allow refunds for “personal reasons” which they state are the app not meeting expectations.

I usually research more before purchasing an app, but I was pretty desperate to break my cycles and have some support since I can’t currently access therapy. I’m hoping that leaving this review will give others pause to stop and evaluate. There are free apps and resources that provide much more than this app. I wish it had provided what it said it would.
  • This company takes advantage

This company that claims to improve the lives of people with executive function issues is actually taking advantage of them. I canceled this within the first week because I found it to be time-consuming and not helpful. I was still charged the following month $59 when I contacted customer service to have my money returned, they gave me a runaround and kept requesting that I tell them why I wanted to cancel which I really don’t think was necessary. They refused my request for reimbursement because I didn’t respond to their email in enough time I’m talking about a matter of a day. I have never had to deal with such a runaround getting my money returned to me. I called the customer service again today and basically told them that I was going leave a bad review and call the Better Business Bureau, then they told me that, my account was canceled and that my money was going to be returned to me. I checked my PayPal account and the money is processing back now. This has been very, very stressful. Maybe this app will help some people, but beware of this companies predatory practices.
  • Has been a big help

I’ve been challenged by procrastination my whole life. Now at 62 and being faced with a house that needs to be decluttering. I am implementing this program. I now see this has been a lifelong challenge and if I could’ve put this into practice earlier, it would’ve benefited my life. It is never too late to start something new and this is helping you achieve my goal of creating the home I want for myself.
