Game changer

Perfect for women affected by the natural processes of menopausal body change. The breadth of approach is perfect: dietary, fitness , education, community, support and life coaching practices, even live support sessions. Most of all it’s bespoke, when you approach the team for advice, instead of the usual scripted non fit nonsense I’ve experienced in the past. I’m a fussy near vegan who likes to eat often and I have learned to change my approach to eating in a relaxed way. OK a bit of effort to kick start the change, but not miserable and restrictive. If I can muster a minor criticism, it’s that the tracking regularly doesn’t work, but even for that they offer delete/reboot support. Lovely people and the community is brilliant. Age approaching 70. Highly recommend Reverse Health 💖

Low quality for price

1. The app doesn’t work as it’s supposed to. Though the app tutorial indicates a person should choose their own start date, it never gave me that option. There are other issues as well.
2. The quality of presenters is poor. Given that the videos are scripted, the presenters should have been able to get through the monologues fairly smoothly, without so many “ummms”, misspoken bits, and other errors. It’s very distracting and detracts from the messages.
3. The meal plans an recipes are a little ridiculous. Many of the ingredients aren’t readily available to me. The recipes often don’t use measurements, rather call for “8 pieces of [meat]” which could be 100g or 300g depending on how the ingredient is cut.

For the cost of the program, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for consumers to expect better. Learn what you’re trying to teach us before you record it. If I feel you don’t know what you’re talking about yourself, how can you expect me to buy into it?
Write proper recipes with actual measurements. And use ingredients I don’t have to order from away. 🙄
And fix your app so it actually works as described. It’s a waste of time having to message RH all the time.

Great variety foods

I started this plan 3 weeks ago, not really expecting anything to happen in the first few weeks. But it has!
3 weeks & 3 kgs less already!! I’m not one for exercise & I’m still not, however this food is amazing & flavoursome, easy to prepare & adding a little exercise has been quite easy.
I’m over 60 (just!) & have struggled with my weight for over 10 years, but this has been very rewarding.
If you want to give yourself a good chance to make a change, give this program a go. It will be well worth a little effort. I’ve proven it’s also ok to swap out a few ingredients if you don’t like what’s on the menu. It’s all pretty flexible. Takes a bit to get use to the change in your shopping cart but the family are all coping so far!

Not worth the money

Too many glitches! I can’t log my meal and water intake. I can’t see my meal plan for the day, can only access the meal plan for the next three days, and there’s no way to see your past meal plans.

I am 62 years old and have been physically active my whole life. But, the past 9 years my work has consumed me and I have not been taking care of my physical self like I should be. Being post menopausal I have seen significant changes in my body that doesn’t exactly thrill me. Even though my job is very physical, walking anywhere from 5 to 8 miles a day, my muscle tone and flexibility is not where I would like it to be and my joints ache at times. So, I decided it was time to start taking care of my physical self again. I saw this workout on Pinterest and decided to try it. The short workouts will fit into my schedule and I can do it from the privacy of my own home. So far so good. Thank you RH!

Loving this app

I am 65 and have been doing 1 or 2 Pilates videos 5 days a week for just over a month and can see a visible difference in my body without using any weights.
My son commented on my buff look when talking on FaceTime so it's not just me that sees the difference 😜
The 1 minute rest intervals between the 5 minute exercises is perfect.

I'm not interested in losing weight just toning so I cannot comment in that area.

I think their support staff are very helpful especially Lynn & Samantha. I had lots of trouble downloading the app as I am currently living in China and need a vpn to access the internet which is challenging at the best of times.

They got me up and running in no time.

For people my age I highly recommend this app.

I’m enjoying it!

In relation to the daily tips and exercise videos the app is very encouraging, non judgmental and understanding of the needs of menopausal women. I’m certainly not happy if I don’t achieve a streak and I like the range of exercise options. A issue I do have is when I completed the 30 days exercise plan it didn’t reset for the second month and now all exercises says completed which creates less motivation for me. Also, when exercising each limb for 30 seconds, changing over eats into your 30 seconds so I have to rewind ten seconds which can be a little challenging when in certain positions. What else worked well?? Supportive and speedy customer service, great recipes and very efficient when logging on to other devices. This app has motivated me to exercise daily (having never committing to a regime before), I definitely feel stronger and am more flexible (particularly in my left should; I was unable to lift my arm straight up or swing it around) so I’m a happy bunny🙂

If all else has failed, give this a go - it works!

I absolutely love this app! 3 weeks in and I have lost the same amount of weight that it previously took me three months to achieve alone!
I was catapulted into an early, clinically and chemically induced menopause last September following two years of health issues, surgery and resultant weight gain, regardless of what I tried. My old exercise routine was not possible to resume due to the nature of my surgery and I really was in a rut.
I signed up thinking the app was just a daily wall Pilates video(having seen the clips and thinking it looked like really practical exercise). I’m hooked - love my 24 minutes first thing every morning! Aches, pains, stiffness have all but disappeared. Feel myself standing taller and range of motion is improving.
Then I discovered the meal plans and daily tips and advice about nutrition. I have never really understood what my body needed and therefore have been unintentionally denying myself of essential nutrients. This educational element has been a real eye opener and I think it will be the game changer in the longer term. This is incredible value for money if you are prepared to trust the advice.

Frustrating glitches

I really love this programme but this is a review of the app not the content: every day I like to log in at 11pm and log my movement especially as I might have just finished it, but it logs this as the next day, despite my being clearly on the page for today. I’ve raised this with the developer and they asked me to update the app, which I’ve done and it’s still happening. Additionally, when I go to log exercise there are some exercises in another language - Italian? Spanish? - which is a bit annoying but obviously not a deal breaker. The logging inaccuracy only happens at 11pm so I’m guessing that the developer is 1 hour ahead in their time zone and this is triggering next day logging?? I’m in the U.K. on British Summer Time. Please fix it so I
can accurately track my exercise, thanks!

I believe I’ve discovered a “team” which provides that “wholistic approach “ to my journey! I’m 66 y/o and have been overweight for my whole life, childhood and adult. I know I have adapted to my weight and have functioned with at times not feeling as obese as I truly am. I have worked hard in my career as a caregiver being a nurses aide the first 12 years and then receiving my degree as a Registered nurse.
Holding true, I’ve delved into every type of diet, only feeling successful in the early 90”s when I reached a weight of 190#.
This support cannot match any of those attempts and I believe with the support of the members I will be able to succeed!!
