  • Good now, great later

Arc has fundamentally changed how I use the web, on my phone, laptop, and iPad. The mobile version is a bit buggy — certain sites don’t load, so I’m occasionally forced to use Chrome or Safari — but the Browse For Me function is a game changer, and Spaces is a fantastic way to organize your browsing. The immersiveness of the browsing experience in Arc has also helped me curb mindless scrolling. The fact that the search bar is the first thing I see when I open the app, for instance, helps me make active decisions about what website or information I’m actually looking for, instead of distracting me with whatever article I was reading the last time I used the app. I’m excited for the bug fixes and for the features this browser will surely receive. Props to The Browser Company for making web browsers — that ancient technology — exciting again.
  • Literally the best browser since safari.

This app is just, stunning. I have never seen an app that can use AI to create a custom website so you don’t have to look at multiple links. This app is the best thing to come to humanity since the invention of the smartphone. It’s also a very versatile way to get your information without having pop up adds. It is a very good way to use AI and gets the job done without needing a silly subscription plan. As a fellow wannabe app developer, and someone who is working on an application, this is quite literally, very well executed and designed. This deserves best browser app for 2024 and many more years to come. I am having trouble with the pinch to summarize feature for the links, but overall I love it, you developers are amazing! Thanks for creating this!
  • Absolutely LOVE Arc!

I’ve been using Arc for a while now, and it has completely transformed how I manage my online activities. As someone juggling schoolwork, photography projects, work, and personal stuff, this browser has been a game-changer.

The sleek and minimalistic interface makes browsing so much more enjoyable and less cluttered. I love the built-in productivity tools like split-screen browsing and notes, which help me multitask efficiently. The sidebar navigation is a brilliant replacement for traditional tab management, making it super easy to switch between different websites and tools.

One of my favorite features is the customizable spaces. I can create different workspaces for various tasks, keeping everything organized and accessible. The collaboration feature is also fantastic for sharing workspaces and collaborating in real-time.

Privacy and security are top-notch with ad and tracker blocking, giving me peace of mind while browsing. The customization options, like themes and extensions, allow me to personalize my browsing experience.

But what truly sets Arc apart is the Arc Search app for iOS. It’s CRAZY good for finding information quickly and efficiently. The AI-powered “Browse for Me” feature scours the web, summarizes content, and blocks ads and trackers. It saves me so much time and effort!

Overall, Arc has helped me stay organized and efficient in all my activities. I genuinely recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed!
  • I’m in love with Arc.

First off, I never write reviews – so this is big for me here. As Arc puts it so eloquently, computers have changed immensely since their creation, but web browsers have stayed virtually the same— until now. I could go on and on about features that make Arc significantly more enjoyable than any of the other web browsers–however, I don’t want to take away any joy that you will experience finding out for yourself. Long story short, there are many small changes that have me tickled. Together, all these small changes put a new face to the future of exploring the endless depths of the web. I cannot recommend this app more. The intuitive user experience makes me feel like I’ve never used anything other than Arc. I’m excited for you. Check it out!!
  • Life changing event

We do not often encounter a life-significant event, such as moving to a different country, getting married, buying a house, or switching to a different web browser. Well, it happened: I switched to Arc from The Browser Company.

They made it so easy to carry over my stuff from Chrome that it felt like moving houses with a team of professional movers who also happened to be mind readers. The more I explore, the more Arc feels like home. Everything is in the right place as if it had a secret blueprint of my brain. No more endless windows and tabs multiplying like rabbits. Now, it's all neat and tidy, like my browser hired a strict librarian with a penchant for organization.

I even got excited about the sidebar. Yes, you heard me right, a sidebar! This isn't just any sidebar. It's a magical command center where everything you need is just a flick away. It’s like having a butler but for your browsing needs.

I introduced Arc to a friend like a charming new neighbor: "Have you met Arc? It’s marvelous!" They looked at me like I was crazy, but they'd understand soon enough.

Thanks to Arc, life became more organized. Now, if only it could do the same for my closet...
  • Surprisingly Amazing!

I was skeptical at first when getting into Arc. I’m just a very organizational and archival type of person when it comes to my research, however I do enjoy being able to have the option for a simple quick search. For me it was difficult, because with any other browser you’d still just have to browse away in the standard fashion. Which basically eliminates the need for a separate app. But Arc is different. The “Summarize” feature blew me away. Being able to gather information from real sites with supported relevance is just so convenient and refreshing. And no ads! Just a super fast, smooth, and easy new way to search for anything. And even if it’s wrong in any way, Arc makes it easy to look deeper and provide you with links to reach any website that sounds similar to or exactly what your looking for. Amazing job Arc team! This app is awesome!
  • FRESH AND New

This app is something special. I have used the macOS and now the iPhone version for quite some time now. As an IOS developer you can tell the care and passion that is put into this app with their weekly features. The thing I love most about this browser is its new and very FUN to use which I can not say about any other browser. Since they are a a small company you can see they make with their weekly updates over time. Unlike Safari or chrome ARC is actually different after months of development. Not only that if they do make a mistake and get feedback they listen and fix it or change it for the better. Overall this app is a must and should I can’t wait to see what is next for the Browser company. Hopefully I can work there one day with such brilliant and innovative engineers.
  • Actually Good

I never make reviews but I thought this app deserved one. I downloaded this thinking it would have a paid version that it would push me to purchase and/or would be another regular alternative web browser but I’m pleased to say it is more than that! To start, this app has no paywall or paid version, it also has a built in ad blocker, cookie banner blocker, and tracker blocker, I feel way more confident clicking on “sketchy” websites knowing that I won’t be bombarded with ads or sent to another website that has even more popups. The pinch to summarize feature is also very useful, giving you a detailed overview of the pages content as well as organizing the different topics discussed on the page. It also eliminates the hassle of searching multiple sites for an answer and instead has the option to browse those sites for you. I will admit the summaries do vary depending on the given information and some are more useful than others. I have ran into a couple summaries that were very unhelpful but for the most part it’s great! Get this app if you want free ad, cookie, and tracker blockers and a well designed easy to use interface with ai powered summaries.
  • Reinventing “Browse the Web”! 🤯

Excellent interpretation of my heart’s genuine question, despite poor/limited wording, and “Browse for me” gave me exactly the science I didn’t know I needed to know, and asked the question I didn’t know I needed to ask, better resolving my initial curiosity!
Like a cat who stumbles upon a sniff of garlic, only after an expository inquiry of the greater area is the cat then ironically handed an entire helping of garlic-butter soup/pasta/whatever cats eat! Such a helpful tool/companion that literally replaced my other apps/browsers/methods and replaced my old “search the web for answers to my spontaneous questions” techniques completely! I’m delighted enough to spend time one this winded review. God bless the Arc team, if only “Browse for me” AI could be more ubiquitous in our lives than only an iOS app… we all need less time staring at another lcd screen instead of staring at the galaxies and heavens above us all!
  • An Innovative Yet Imperfect Browsing Experience

The Arc Browser for iOS offers an innovative browsing experience by combining a browser, search engine, and AI chatbot into one app. It features AI-generated summaries, a "reader" mode that cleans up cluttered webpages, and strong privacy measures to block trackers and ads. However, it currently lacks synchronization with its desktop version and can be slower than other browsers like Google Chrome. While its unique approach and clean interface are impressive, the AI-generated content can sometimes be unreliable. Overall, Arc is an intriguing choice for those looking for a new mobile browsing experience, though it might not yet be ready to replace more established browsers for everyone.
