Beware of scummy practices!

I used this app hoping it would be useful, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time. The features are unimpressive, and overall it didn’t provide any value to me. However, the real problem is their shady subscription practices.

The app doesn’t appear in the usual subscription list, making it impossible to cancel directly from your device. Out of nowhere, they charged me after my initial week expired, without any clear notice or way to stop it. The ONLY way to unsubscribe is to write them an email — and good luck getting a quick response! It feels like they are deliberately making it difficult to cancel. This is beyond disappointing. Avoid this app at all costs!

Dishonest business practices

Despite cancelling, Mindway continues to charge my Visa credit card and will not refund the charges. I contacted them within (literally) moments of the charge hitting my credit card (I receive text warnings when overseas charges occur). All, be warned that there is no way to manage your subscription in iCloud nor within the app. Attempts to cancel become your words against theirs! There is no cancellation email nor confirmation mail to produce!

I can’t speak to the content of the app, since I didn’t try it for more than 24 hours (though it continued to collect data from other parts of my iPhone).

Should the merchant decide to respond here, past experience would indicate that, despite a professional appearance, this is a dishonest business!

Money taken from my account after canceling the 7 day prescription!!!!!!!!

Worthless

I knew it was dogsh*t the moment I got past the payment. They immediately send you through a bunch of ads trying to sell you more things because they know you’re going to hate the app after you’ve seen it, so they want to get as much money as they can while you still have false hope.

I asked for a refund literally minutes after paying and was told that wasn’t an option. I hadn’t downloaded the app or used it at all, but they still said it could not be cancelled.

I did benefit from this experience. I hate myself so much for falling for their ads, it inspired me to sort my problems out for myself.

I would give zero stars if I could!

Beware if thinking of purchasing
Signed up using my I phone but no subscription showing on my Apple account. Took a 3mth plan but never received any email confirmation
Then I get more money taken from my bank account, nothing clear about this as never got an email and I know that I did not sign up to a subscription as never would have
Read the trust pilot reviews, so many saying the same. Very disappointing
Oh and the app is useless so wasn’t even worth the money taken!

Be careful for charges

I downloaded the app as I was curious just a week ago, hadn’t had the time to look into it yet. Without warning I have been charged 25 GBP for subscription. There is no self serve option to cancel, you’d have to send an email. Refunds are rejected. They can’t even spell Subscription correctly on their Help articles. Really feels so wrong that this is the way to go about profiting from people already struggling with mental health. Subscription process needs to be MUCH more transparent.

This app is a scam: do NOT buy

On purchasing the app to try for 1 month you are asked to buy multiple additional products, the checkout makes it very hard to click ‘no’ and I was charged instantly for products I didn’t want to buy. When I complained to their customer services they refuse to issue a refund for products I don’t want. There was no option to review the final order. This company does not care about its customers or the user experience, they only want to make money. The irony is that this app creates more stress for its customers. The content itself is unbelievably basic.

Not helpful

I feel I was gypped. Not only was I charged for a 3-month subscription on top of a lifetime subscription which doesn’t make any sense, I’m finding this to be nothing more than a glorified tracking app. I don’t need to TRACK things. I do overthink and thought this might be helpful based on the ad I saw, and the Plan just provides little blurbs that I can search myself online. This is not helping and I think a therapist would provide me better results. I’m livid I cannot get a refund. All apps should be refundable especially if not helpful.

SCAM!!!!! Do not download

It’s a totally scam. I paid for a week because I wanted to try it. But it was really clear that it wasn’t a subscription it was just a week and it was $4.
Today I checked my account and they charged me $40!!!!!!

Utterly useless , money taken from my account and don’t know why

This app is useless. It’s basically just a journal , what little advice there is is simply just reading very basic information! Information you could just google if you wanted…. Zero real insight or help at all. Aldo I only downloaded the basic app and today, a few weeks later, they have just taken £42 from my account?! I can’t see any way to stop this or any notification any payment was due or why ??? I want my money returned (taking money from people I’d suggest increases their stress and anxiety, not help it !) and I want any subscription or whatever it is you’re hiding in your small print stopped immediately! There is zero info on how to cancel any subscription you might unwittingly have!
Avoid this. Utter scam. I’ll be contacting customer service and reviewing on all platforms so nobody else parts with good money !
