Just the worst bank App there is out there
This App sets a new standard in poor response, functionality and just all round poor performance.
Six months of using it and constant error messages on log-in saying ‘Ops something went wrong, try again’.
It’s SO slow and when you do get in and ask to view something like Future Payments, it will just sit and spin until you give up.
Then there’s the time it takes for ME to send money using the App. If you send money in during banking hours it’s there instantly, go the other way and send money using the ME App to another bank and it takes hours if not a day to get there.
I use several other bank Apps and these are light years ahead of ME. I guess they have to pay for a good mortgage rate by cutting back on IT and App development.

Horrible app, rubbish bank
I joined ME bank several years ago after leaving commbank because of how they invested my money. Sadly ME bank has failed me so many times ive since empties my account and gone to another bank. I had large sums of money withdrawn from my account without my consent or knowledge and when i informed ME bank of this they investigated it and sent me a letter essentially saying “not our problem”. Obviously the people i trust to look after my money not being able to look after it at all is a problem for me so i tried to close my account but have been unable to because the steps on their website dont even exist in the app.
Im a firm believer in green investment and small banks but DO NOT trust ME bank they are rubbish.

Recent interface update
I really hate the look of the app after a recent update. before and it was easy to look at, to read and to use. Now it’s horrible! The front is tiny and hard to read and the list is just plain ugly to look at. I don’t understand why something Iike this needs to change. If you want to make an improvement look at functionality like being able to update automatic transfers directly from the app. currently to change something I have to log onto a computer. ME bank is the only banking app I have used that doesn’t have this functionality!

Glitched and unfixable!
I can’t access the app. When I call the bank to sort it they say delete it and download it again but this doesn’t work.
Tells me to reset my pin, which is the same pin I’ve used from the start. When I press ok to reset my pin it flips back to log in. And there starts the loop. Can’t do anything but go between those two screens.
It’s unusable and apparently unfixable. For such an important app it’s frustrating as to not be able to access my banking on the go. I will likely be moving my home loan from this bank and this unusable app is one of the reasons. So frustrating.

Unreliable since merger
I’ve banked with this bank for the past 35 years. It’s always been reliable although there has been the occasional stuff up in that time. However what’s happening now is crazy. The system is regularly crashing (for 48 hours over the weekend) and today. Also I distribute regular payments from my account to other accounts on certain dates for loan repayments and savings commitments. ME constantly overrides the dates I insert for these and chooses other random dates for some reason. I’ve made numerous complaints but no one ever responds. This has become a very very unreliable bank to leave your money in or try to do business with.

Technical Issues
Current issues have rendered ME Bank users without access to accounts. No adequate explanation just hope that it’s being worked on “around the clock” my pay finally went in and when I went down and refueled my car I discovered my bank card would not work, nor would an ATM or paying via online… fortunately the owner of the service station was serving me and the one thing that worked was a transfer by Pay Direct.
Enough of an experience for me to want to look for a new bank. Nothing worse than feeling like a criminal when you can’t pay because the bank has shut you down across all platforms and you have to be on the frontline to explain the situation.

ME Bank has officially neglected their banking platform
Absolute disgrace of a banking app. Taking a look at the version history clearly demonstrates ME Banks commitment to improving their application and in proxy their website banking experience.
The app is extremely slow and the basic functionality such as editing scheduled payments being nonexistent is more than enough for us to refinance with another bank.
If we had of known the banking platform is this archaic we would have never banked with ME.
ME bank was acquired by Bank of Queensland (BOQ) and I’ve banked with them before. Their platform is miles ahead, it’s extremely quick to load, scheduling payments is easy and you can modify them (which still baffles me that ME can’t do it). It’s clear that ME has stopped investing in platform development but at the sacrifice of their customers.

Hey,
I feel the Basic Home Loan could use an improvement in how the data is represented.
In its current state, many believe the redraw amount is reducing their monthly repayments, when in fact it is only reducing interest.
It would be better if it showed principal as balance, then underneath that it showed you the sum minus any over payments (redraw amount).
I feel it will encourage more people to put spare money on their principal. Also the balance should reflect the principal, as that is an accurate depiction of what is happening with the money.
Making things more visible, helps people to better understand how their money works for them. Especially as there are products out there that allow you to redraw any extra payments on your principal. That ME bank no longer offers.

No Issues at all
Early days but the app is working well and am finding it convenient. Especially like how you can see selected account/s without opening the app which is handy if watching for incoming or outgoing monies. Definitely not finding it slow to open on newer iOS but is a little slow on older versions such as iOS 12 but still OK. Great bank with great interest options and would recommend this bank to anyone wishing easily opening accounts.

App won’t open most of the time
This would have to be the most frustrating app I have. Have sort ME Bank assistance and I x plainer the issue with directions on how to ‘fix’ the problem but with no remedy.
90% of the time I try to open my app and get a logon error. I close pages on my phone, delete app and reinstall and it will work a few times then error again.
I’ve had so much trouble with ME Bank and wish I hadn’t recommended them to all of my family and friends. It’s a headache - especially when needing to transfer immediately or get balances.
