Enough to drive a person mad
Issues preventing access or transfer of funds happen almost every time, and are enough to make wife and I consider switching back to a less ethical bank like NAB.
ME bank please please write this app off and build from the ground up. It's pleasing enough to view and the layout works OK, but the actual build of the app and the infrastructure it works with is one of the worst user experiences I've ever had.
It was great until it bugged
Okay but basics missing
Unable to contact you via the app. It says email but not clickable and only suggestion is to review your app, which makes it more likely your customers will leave a bad review considering they can’t even reach you.
Unable to add business accounts to app. Would need to delete entire app then reinstall every time. This isn’t feasible. At the very least I should be able to login to another account without having to uninstall the app each time. Or you should connect customers better.
The new layout looks better but be good if the basics were sorted.

Account balances page still taken up by ME icon.
I like the black/white contrast of the transfer page, why isn’t this reflected in the other pages?
I also note that the log off action appears inconsistently on the other page, it is also annoying having to scroll down to log off , this action should be very apparent.

The new UI is bad design
The old one is good enough, why do you need to change it?
Especially when doing money transfer between accounts. I select “from” account, then select “to” account, and then when it comes to the page where I need to key in the amount, it’s just a blank page. It didn’t show any account details or amount info. I forgot how much $ I have in my account, so I need to go back to see it.
That interface just make me insecure. I can’t see any account details when doing money transfer and I need to click to previous page to see it.
I don’t normally leave comment for app, this is the first time I actually feel I need to do this.
Good but has a frustrating issue
The most frustrating issue concerns transferring money. You can't see any of the balances of the account you're transferring from. If you forget exactly how much you have you have to cancel the transfer, look at your balance again and then begin again.
V3.1 is slightly better, but still improvements to make
GOING BACKWARD: Previously, a user didn’t need to press “log in”. If they had Touch ID enabled, just touching home would login. Adding the steps a user must complete, is a step backwards.
GOING BACKWARD: Previously, a user could see a number of accounts on their Home Screen. Now, with the EXTRA LARGE ME logo, taking up previous screen space, only 2 accounts are visible without scrolling. I used to see 5 accounts in half my screen. Making a user scroll to see what they used to see on one screen, is a step backwards.
Thanks for returning a larger number of transactions able to be viewed. This appears to have returned to what it was.
I am definitely considering switching financial institutions because of the changes to customer interface.

Hey Tina, thanks for the updated review now that we've fixed that scrolling bug. You can also hit the search icon in your account to see up to 2 years of history. We're committed to improving accessibility in the app and want to give you the freedom to increase the size and weight of the font in the app in line with your device settings.
