Best price & timing
Also, if you know what you’re doing, you can make the best of your experience; most people are livid at the fact they have to pay for a checked bag and to choose their seat. To them I say this; pack light & don’t choose your seat. If you don’t absolutely need the insurance, don’t get it. It’s a 2-3 hour flight domestic. You don’t NEED to choose your seats and bring the heaviest, biggest bag you own.
I finally found flights that made sense time wise, and that was for $98, making it just $104 after taxes/fees. I still think inflation and fake supply chain issues make this still way too expensive, but that isn’t Kiwi’s fault. Kiwi once again saved the day.
