Excellent with all features I hoped for
Files app support, WiFi sync, easy imports, simple design that gets out of your way...
Good stuff. I’m thankful for the work you have put in.
What I would like to see:
The automatic sync with the iCloud folder is great and if you could add an option where my existing comics or directly downloaded to iPad comics could sync back to the folder or another folder, that would be perfect.
Or add an option of automatic backup to preferred cloud service / folder like in Notability.
I don’t think it’s easy enough to move files back to the cloud at the minute.Show lessRaphael9214
Great comic book reader

Almost perfect.
If the developer is here, there is one feature I would like and that is sorely missing.
When the comic titles are too long, they are chopped off. PLEASE make it so that they either scroll to reveal the full title, or there is a tooltip that shows the full title when hovering.
Manga have really long titles and it is hard to see what the chapter number is if they are long.Show lessearthb92

I paid for this app pro unlock after only a few uses, it’s that good!
Managing your collection is super easy. You can create custom groupings, rename them, reorder, split, delete, etc. You can open each comic exactly where you left off.
I can download my comics from Google Drive and Dropbox within the app, which is amazing! The autocropping, scaling, tinting, panning, is all fantastic and can be switched off or customised to my liking.
The choices for page transition effects are neat and you can even completely customise the colour scheme for the app which is something I was every app offered.
This app is what got me reading comics as a hobby and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.Show less-therobotking-
No Other Option
Chunky is the best reader out there. None of the other readers on the App Store come close when it comes to stability and features (also ad-free!). I bought the Pro version mainly for border cropping, which is a pretty killer feature. Two things I would like to see are a few basic keyboard controls and also Files app support.Show lesskfbluebonnet
The best comic reader, severely underrated
Outstanding user interface, very clean, intuitive, and quick!
No annoying ads! It’s actually a joy to use, and that’s only the free version- paying a little And getting the full version with its quality features is so worth it.

Saves the day
I was a big user of Comiczeal and after iOS 11 noticed a serious stability issues while reading comics. Ive tried a handful of apps and none have reaped me in like chunky comic has. I would recommend to anyone to buy the in app purchase or tip these folks lets keep this great comic book reader developed for a long time.Show lessGiant_Techie
Great but a couple of things could be better
Chunky is by far my favourite comic reader. It does not have some of the frills found in other readers but it has everything needed to make a fine reading experience.
That said I would suggest a way to resize the comic images in group view. Also, I have a large collection and I would really like a selected favourites.
Also I have a bug that stops 5*. I get ‘cannot open null’ when I open the app after waking my iPad. I understand that this is not the place to report bugs but I did email the dev and have not heard back.Show lessMcmuffy
